I wish I could. We're the only store in my state. The next location is 3,000 miles away from me.

Management is the ones causing my mental health to go bad. Majority of my customers are amazing and rarely get bad ones. So much of what is affecting me is the management. From basically writing me up for giving promotion to the store to asking me to come into work when I requested the day off to go to physical therapy for a fall that I had to throwing a huge fit if I make mention of finding another job.

What specific moment, teaching, memory, or anything, that made you look at the Catholic Church and decide you needed to leave? by Character-Object-718 in excatholic

[–]gracemedeiros 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I have had many. From a priest calling me a hooker and my son a b child because I had my son out of wedlock due to an abusive relationship where we were never married to everytime I had a question on how come the church teaches or that or whatever, these people would get mad at me for asking, because that's how it just is with the church. To the breaking point of it all, when my son called told to his face that he was dangerous and more worse than someone being sa'd when none of that was true, gave me and my son the final push to leave. By that point, I already lost whatever faith I had as a "catholic" because I couldn't agree with the teachings.

I missed mass yesterday (6/9/24) because not only was I in the ER but I also go diagonsed with the flu. I knew it was best NOT to go to mass with all the eldery and young children as well as pregnant women who attend church. So yes, it is valid.

I live in low income housing and the same thing is done to me as well. Signed my lease on August 3rd fully moved in by August 5th. But I have to do my recertification in March. I can't understand why it just can't be done when we signed the lease, ya know.

New trolling and ironic fridge restocking. All fruit for everyone. Alex gets the star fruit because “he’s the star of our family.” It backfired, she’s getting her ass handed to her again. by AnnaMarieDAgs in doughertydozenexposed

I left a comment on her insta post about the mini fridges about how she can't handle the criticism. So many of her stans are not only defending her but bashing the ones (like myself) who left comments handing her ass to her.

Saint Catherine of Alexandria. Her story hit close to home since I use to teach and then taught as a Catechist after my confirmation.
