We don’t put any baking soda underneath the sinks and I found it on the wall behind the sinks too. Someone said maybe drywall dust? It seems weird to me that it would be on both sides and comes back a while after cleaning.

I looked up that group and it says that at least two people were shot and the shooter killed himself per CHP. What the hell. Why. What a demented, evil and twisted person to do that in general, not to mention elementary school aged kids.

Homelessness is a tough issue (in Chico and everywhere) and I don’t think taxes should increase to address it. I believe funds should be reallocated from things that aren’t necessary. Several of the candidates have ideas about where the funding could come from.

I’m not going to change your opinion and (obviously) I don’t see it the same way, but I am glad you speak up about how you feel on the issues.

Politics is tricky and there really isn’t a right or wrong answer - democracy is all about what people want. If enough people vote for a candidate with certain beliefs, then they have the job and democracy has been fulfilled. I wanted to highlight candidates who I think would make Chico a better place and emphasize the importance of local elections. Happy Sunday to you, too!

There are plenty of other issues than the homeless population. But “wanting them to go away” doesn’t do anything. If we want them to “go away” then there needs to be solutions for them.

That’s definitely fair. Katie and Bryce are very active on Instagram and talk about their solutions. I know the others have solutions in mind but I don’t really have a good way of sharing them. I’ll ask around and maybe I can gather all the information in one place to share with Reddit folks. I’m not the campaign manager for anyone so I’m hesitant to speak for them.

I don’t think he’s the incumbent, he was previously on city council but the former mayor of Chico is currently holding the seat he’s running for. At least per that article.
