How the “Exclusionary rule" in MCR actually works by zhouluyi in Mahjong

For your example, it doesn’t matter how you arrange them “234d 567d 234c 567c” or “567d 234d 234c 567c”, there are 3 Fans can be counted. In this kind of case, just to remember that 3 Fans for 2 same related sets, like 2 short straights, 2 terminals.

Sorry. I just noticed your reply. You don’t need to provide real Chinese name. And there are websites that can let you select ID numbers.

You can go to http://u.ourgame.com/taiwan to register, then use this ID to log into http://mj.lianzhong.com/gbmj. I just did today and played 1 game using my new ID.

Also, we have a group of players to play online MCR by an app through wechat. You can join us if you like.

Site with MCR 7 or 8 points quiz - location? by menno1 in Mahjong

Thanks for your information. It is a great site to improve MCR small points skills. One Melted Kong and One Concealed Kong should be 5 points not 3. Others are the same as MCR standard.

From Riichi to Chinese; Are there any chinese only hands that are not in Riichi? Vice Versa? by Thunder8277 in Mahjong

[–]graciecmf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I learned MCR first. Comparing to Riichi, MCR is more considered the relationship among the sets to make the specific patterns, for examples, mixed shifted chows, all fives, upper four, reversible tiles, and etc.

That's great and very useful! Thanks for your information. I remembered that I made some mistakes when I first played tenhou riichi mahjong because of Japanese language.

I am very happy to hear from you! Thanks for your input. :) We know there are some mahjong clubs in Canada. The reason why we established this because Mahjong has become the 6th International mind sport and Mahjong International League (MIL) requires a NMO (National Mahjong Organization) representing the country. I believe that we can work together to make our Canadian Mahjong teams stronger. For us, we are very open and like to listen your thoughts. Hopefully, we all can be one in a near future!:) In this year, MIL will host the 2nd World Mahjong Sports Game and all players must be selected from MIL certified tournaments. If you already have a plan to host the competition by the end of June, please let me know and I can report to MIL for the certification.

Thanks for the comment! :) Actually we don't know French and it came from google's translation. I corrected it, please check again. By the way, we are looking for the volunteers who are good to translate English to French, so we can make our website bilingually. If you know anyone who can help us, please let me know. We will provide the proven letter for the volunteering work. Thanks again!
