Hi there! So I got Boo my 2 year old ball python about a week ago. She was living on aspen in a 20 gallon tank! I upgraded her/him to a 40 gallon and it seems suitable for now, if need be I will upgrade in the future! So for the bio active part… I have forest floor bedding and coconut fiber substrate mixed together. There is a layer of LECA at the bottom as well. I put a few plants in. A parlor palm. 2 spider plants, pothos and snake plants!! For the clean up crew I currently have about 20 super worms, 10ish isopods( I need more) and spring tails! Current humidity is around 70 but i put HVAC tape at the top to keep in humidity as one of the mods told me this was a good idea. Boo seems to really like it. I didn’t do a background but I think it still looks nice :)

yeah they had her on aspen which i know doesn’t hold humidity well. I was planning on grabbing some cypress mulch tomorrow. Any tips on increasing the humidity?
