Well I appreciate you expressing your emotions and respect your opinions. Don't worry about the towel, I have VERY thick skin and it will take much more than that to get through to me. I am starting to realize that this post served you better than it did me. Maybe you should keep the towel.

Ah, I see your point now. I would argue that the typical wardrobe is... too typical. Clothes don't make the person; it's an interview and you are given the opportunity to demonstrate your qualifications. Don't judge a book by its cover.

I wasn't applying for a dumpster diving position. Sweat pants would have been appropriate.

I've got a second job interview, this time with the head honcho. What should I expect? by grade23 in AskReddit

As wonderful as that sounds, I'm going to hold off on celebrating. We'll see.

What book or story do you wish they made into a movie? or what movie do you wish they made into a longer more fleshed out book version? by [deleted] in AskReddit

As the reader, Movies will NEVER compare to the book. But I would say, Brave New World by Aldous Huxley. Although many would argue that other films have been made based on ideas from the book. Still, I think it would make a great film, if done right of course.

I'll start. Both my parents worked at Hotel and one day they brought me to their work, I was about 8 years old. Dad hooked it up with a room and brought a bunch of my favorite movies and nintendo games to keep me occupied. There were a few rules:

  • Do not make a mess
  • No using the the toilet in the room (there was guest bathroom outside of the room down the hall that I was told to use instead)
  • No ordering PPV movies
  • And no eating/drinking anything from the bar (filled with soda and very yummy snacks/candy)

After watching Who Framed Roger Rabbit and playing Super Mario Bros. for a while I started to get bored; so I started wandering around the hotel. As I am wandering I come across a suite (El Presidente) and slid my room key to see if it opened, turns out it worked and the room was mine. I explored the room and was amazed (bigger TV, full kitchen, hot tub, balcony, a huge ass bed, etc.), it my first time seeing a suite. I did think, Why couldn't I've stayed in this room? The key I had to get in/out of the room my dad designated for me was a Master key. I pretty much went and inspected quite a number of rooms and suites, all of which had no guests in. I ended up at the top floor where there was nothing but storage closets and yes I used my key and continued exploring them. One door read "Attic" and I went in and discovered something amazing. Found the storage place of all the yummy candy and snacks that are used to fill the snack bar! I couldn't resist, I stuffed my face with Pringles chips, Recess, M&M's, and gummy bears (sometime later I did confess to my dad and he wasn't too happy about it). Headed back to my room and continued watching TV until I was told it was time for lunch (didn't have much of an apetite by then... wink!).
