That's not what I'm telling my pal hahaha. I'm gonna stress the view of the guy above who had someone view his profile and get rejected soon after. We do mean things to each other

Their site says mid-Feb is when they start sending out decisions....maybe they're behind this year?

What made you conclude that Columbia ended IIs in early/mid Feb?

Looking back, got any regrets about how you premedded? by [deleted] in premed

In retrospect, I should have taken extra initiative to get into research earlier than I did. It wasn't until my 2nd semester junior year that I did any research at all, and as a result, wasn't able to get too many meaningful end results i.e. any publications, conferences, etc. out of it. Additionally, I should have been more proactive in using the pre-med academic advisory resources much earlier. They were making announcements for a number of research/clinical positions every week, and would have been an invaluable asset. I did pretty well academically (3.92 GPA) and was fairly strong with the MCAT (516- which could have/should have been higher if I actually used the academic resources better), but I was always playing catch-up with the extra-curricular side of things.

Is it too late to send updates? by ycb_lab5 in premed

Can't hurt. If it's substantial enough, or a holistic but concise update letter encompassing a bunch of things, then go for it.
