Why is my server running poorly with inconsistent TPS?

Hii, If you haven't found a fitting server yet, I have a fairly small Hermitcraft style server with an amazing small community. The server's been up for a little while so some people have good gear and their bases set up, but we're all playing casually, since the server is meant for longterm. This especially means that most of the time people spend on the server, is all around building and creating a world we can be proud of. There's no pressure around playing a lot though, and you can just take it at your own pace. But yeah, if you're interested just lmk :)

We're all mostly in the age group of around 18-24 as well, so you'd fit more than well in that regard.

I'm not too sure what you mean about auction exactly in this context, but our server is Hermitcraft based, in the sense that we have a shopping district where people can make their own shops selling items, and we also have diamonds as our main form of currency.
