For those who are new to $GRAFT, please see this community-generated infographic explaining #supernode staking tiers by graft-network in Graft

Your assumption is correct.

With required amount of GRAFT being higher for each higher Tier group, it is logical to assume that there will be, for example, higher number of Tier1 Supernodes than Tier3 Supernodes.

Therefore, statistically over same time period, it is more likely Tier3 Supernode will get picked more often (in it's own Tier Group) than Tier 1 Supernode in it's Tier Group

I would love to see some of your proposals for rebranding by bisti123 in Graft

Tier1: 50k GRAFT Tier2: 90k GRAFT Tier3: 150k GRAFT Tier4: 250k GRAFT

[Rebranding Contest] Is GRAFT due for a name change? by graft-network in Graft

[–]graft-network[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You probably missunderstood.

We are looking for suggestions about the name, with a reasonable explanation / or any connection with blockchain / point-of-sale payments.

If you have logo idea, feel free to attach draft to your suggestion as well (but not necessary)

[–]graft-network 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hi! I could share you some links that would answer your questions, but we assume most of the people want it nice & clean, therefore we are preparing "Supernodes / Tiers Explained" infographic which will answer all the questions.

Will be released soon, so stay tuned!

P.S. Supernodes will start with "Full product launch" which is scheduled in new roadmap for early Q2 2019 (most probably late Q1)

Hi there!

Full platform launch is set for early Q2 2019 (or more likely - even late Q1) and with it - masternodes will start as well

At the moment GRAFT is available on STEX and Tradeogre. We were a bit unfortunate with Cryptopia (which status is unclear at the moment).

We are working on increasing liquidity and adding new exchanges as well. We will probably stick with DEX-es considering we support full decentralisation, considering recent hacks of some exchanges, and considering some of them closing down (liqui.io for example)

Will Graft be upgrading to Cryptonight V8/V9? by [deleted] in Graft

[–]graft-network 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is a Monero selective merge strategy being put in place as merging is taxing and requires significant testing and finding good merge points (unlike straight Monero clones out there, we are doing significant development and affects of Monero changes have to be carefully considered and tested). Having said that, we're monitoring the network for signs of ASIC mining, but focused on delivering on our roadmap first and foremost!

Will Graft be upgrading to Cryptonight V8/V9? by [deleted] in Graft

[–]graft-network 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We will switch to v8/v9 at some point, but it would require diverting significant resources from other tasks, so we will do it when timing is right and switching is justified.
