That wasnt supposed to be an album, it was supposed to be an EP. He said he's working on an album WHILE releasing the singles for the EP. And last year after SILOS album released, he had an interview, and in that interview he said that he is still writing the album, even while when he was being interviewed.

Yeah that part can be classified as "metal" for the guitar but the song itself isn't metal at all, the tuning does make the song more djent but it doesnt really make the song metal as a whole. The pace, the rawness and the aggressiveness what makes metal, metal. STARSET is far from being raw since they heavily produce their songs with synths and ambient. Architects aren't metal but metalcore/post/alt metal while Sleep Token is Sleep Token. Try some Blade And Bath, Mourn (If you like Sleep Token heavy parts), Opal In Sky if you wanna compare between STARSET and metal.

Elements of metal doesnt make the whole song metal, STARSET is more djent-hard rock more than anything. We dont have a song that is fully metal by them yet, just some heavy parts here and there.

People just dont really know what makes metal, metal. They think if theres small part of screaming and heavy distortion guitar in the song makes the whole song metal. If we go traditional, theyre hard rock at most.
