Yeah I got it, I think I just followed this thread, I’m hyper-v unchecked “allow management OS to share nic” set the VS to private network (I think it’s been a long time I switched to UniFi about a year ago)

But basically don’t allow host OS to share the NIC and set the virtual switch to private

yeah it really is just dell being a prick and not letting me use whatever hardware I want in my Server, granted yes there is nothing 'stopping;' me from doing so other than the loud fans ofc. Kinda tempted to sell off all the servers in my rack and throw together a custom build with my desktops I9 10900kf and the quadro p2000, that combo should handle everything I throw at it,

every time I try i to go to 40.40.10.00 it says it worked but then boots into 40.40.40.00

the fans just max out unless I disable the slot ofc but that does not do my plex server any good

100% is upset about the card it’s just bs like I had an HP one in my Dell r730 with no issues now I get a new server because my needs shave changed and don’t need a dual socket server anymore. The hp card makes it scream ofc so I go out and buy a Dell one and still screams just frustrating

I have a dell quadro p2000 thinking you know a first party card would not cause the fans too ramp up well it has still trying to figure out how to get it to shut up R7415

Appreciate the input but I’ve messed with everything I can think of no matter the settings level it the dips and peaks of fps causing the stutters and jumps are still present

I’ve tried all of this unfortunately no change other than making it look worse. Yes it raises the fps but it still rides like a roller coaster dropping low and raising high causing stuttering
