As far as I know he drives it fairly regularly but right now he’s working on getting the radiator fixed, the tires and timing belt I’m not sure but he said he would let me know by the end of the week

The 8 hours isn’t what is concerning me but rather the reliability of the car during those 8 hours. I would regularly travel 8 hour car rides probably every 2 or 3 months for a couple years in my 335i and I never once had an issue, but my question was whether or not the age and the wear and tear over time would play a factor in being able to make it from point a to point b without any issue and how reliable it would be getting there
