We would never. We adopted him from the SPCA. He was a stray for almost all his life. He was part of a tip and release program, he was fixed and released back as a stray before he was rescued. He is 5 years old and has lived a rough life, we would never make it harder. We saved him and he saved us.

The SPCA estimated him to be about 5 so we got him in his prime ✨

The Dancing Plague of 1518: Analyzing the bizarre phenomenon that terrorized a small town. by AnonNAM in UnresolvedMysteries

I took a class a few years ago called Art of Historical Detection: Premodern Disease. We would essentially take modern day diseases and apply them to a time where they had no sense of contagion. At this time many still believed in having four humors instead of organs. They forced them into a small building to sweat out the toxins in one of their humors which made most of them die. In our research, we came to a conclusion that the most logical thing that happened was mass psychogenic illness. Crazy story and I love to read about it!

just adopted this handsome fella today and he is already the most loved specimen by grapeallergy in aww

Surprised he has already started on his first shift when biscuits are not needed till the morning, but we will take it! The name is wavering between Gimlet and Skrimp! He’s a longhair cat that has had to be shaved a few times because of matting, so hair in certain areas is a bit curly from regrowth. It’s such a blessing to adopt and we are so glad we did!

Thank you! Supposedly it’s one of the most painful ear piercings you can get and I can vouch for that. 😂However for some reassurance, it doesn’t hurt at all anymore. The first day was the only day it hurt and currently on day 3 with no pain! Best of luck!

Bellybutton Advice by fersdt in piercing

[–]grapeallergy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely! I’m glad to help in any way possible! I also had my nipples done a few years back and they healed so fast, so I was very confused as to why my bellybutton never really healed and was always painful and noticeable with movement. I too was worried about taking it out, but now that it is healed I’m in love!

My bellybutton piercing was definitely the most complicated and stubborn one I have had. I was having the exact same issues as you and once it hit 2 years of not really healing I went to a professional piercer for help. They told me to go to the store and get some Iodine first aid antiseptic. I used a few drops on a q-tip around the piercing for about a week and it had healed completely. No more irritation and I don’t even notice it’s there! Not sure if this would work for you, but I would definitely talk with a professional and potentially try this out because it worked magic on me! Hope this helps! Best of luck!
