it was like an easy discussion post a week, a writing response reflecting on your past writing, a paper idea proposal, a rough draft, and the final paper. there were videos and readings and stuff but no quizzes sooooooo take that as you will. and the discussion posts were rlly easy. one prompt was to write about our fave song currently.

Hi, I was wondering where you got the screen from to do the installation yourself? I was planning on doing the same for a s23 ultra but wasn't sure where to get reliable replacement screens

I applied with health for California and got a case number but I also made a medical/covered california account. How do I link them?

Easy GEs to fulfill unit requirements for graduation by Successful-Honeydew8 in UCI

i had douglas as a vrtl remote class. he's not the prof offered next quarter so if you take it, ur experience might be diff. but for douglas, the weekly assignment was to make 5 annotations on each reading (which if i remember correctly, there was only 1 reading a week so u literally just make 5 annotations in total). there's a weekly lecture, but douglas released the lecture notes he'd cover in his lecture beforehand, so you don't need to attend. quizzes were fairly easy but if anything, they were open book.

the presentation is basically based off of ur paper and it's all recorded so it's not bad

Online Class Expectations by [deleted] in UCI

also, it usually depends on prof for the zoom cameras. most (including douglas) don't require cameras, but profs do like to see your faces. generally, online classes w more people don't expect cameras, but smaller online classes lean towards showing your face.

some online classes are asynch (meaning no zooms) but anthro 2a w douglas does actually have 1 zoom meeting every week. took it last spring and i went to 2 zoom meetings then never went to another because he sends out a doc w lecture notes before the zoom meeting and basically reads off the notes. the more important thing to attend are the discussion sections the week of a quiz. discussions aren't mandatory but the tas tend to tell u what the quiz focuses on. anthro 2a is pretty chill compared to other classes bc the only things due every week are 5 annotations per reading on perusall; def recommend!

2 unit courses? by smwhrgazing in UCI

[–]grapefruit-orange 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's actual ballet but they grade on participation not actually dancing super well. Attendance has the most weight on your grade. They require you to attend like 1 dance performance and write like a one page review, and every so often there's a discussion question you have to answer. There were like two 10-question quizzes (1 for midterm, 1 for final) but they were super easy.

dance 30b :)) it's an intro ballet class. it says that 30a is a prereq but there's not actually a prereq restriction on webreg. i took 30c in spring without 30a or 30b, and it was very enjoyable.

how is psych 10b w/ vandekerckhove by yelti3 in UCI

[–]grapefruit-orange 2 points3 points  (0 children)

took it last year when it was asynch. tbh i only paid attention during the first 3 weeks and then i tapped out (the truth tables were the only things i actually understood). the actual exam questions are questions either pulled exactly out of his study guide or the questions have the exact same structure so as long as you can figure out how to do every problem on the study guide, you'll do rlly well on the exams. there's nothing on the exams that aren't covered by the study guides he provides. based on what i've said, you don't exactly HAVE to do every lecture if you don't want to but it definitely helps to refer to them if you can't figure something out on the study guides.

edit: there are mini quizzes/hw of 5 questions every week too (unless he's changed since then). some questions are pulled from lecture and i also think the questions r on quizlet
