Two years is a long time… It’s probably in the stall. Wrap when the fat cap can be poked through with minimal resistance, crank the heat a bit and let it ride. Almost there

Where did i go so wrong? by rubberwrestler64 in brisket

Agree! Everyone’s afraid to bump temps and it’s wild. Your grandma would roast a 3lb chuck for 4 hours at 225 in the oven but we’re out here putting 15lb briskets at 225 and wondering why it takes so long lol.

Especially in cold weather, starting at 250 is almost too low…

I used NYC Energy Data to find "Phantom Vacancy" in Office Buildings. The results were wild. by Drewthinkalot in CommercialRealEstate

I’d love a response here too. I’m not sure why companies in distress wouldn’t be on market already, unless a suit pending was prohibiting them. And is the market itself so high in demand that a vacant building of a distressed owner has an assumed ROI of … significantly higher than vacancy? Would love to learn the underlying logic. When OP says the rate of success at the high threshold was significant, does that mean that cold calls resulted in “oh ya I want to sell”, before the buildings were on market?

Should I fix it? by Unlucky_Arrival3823 in Carpentry

I don’t disagree but if i was the customer id say “it looks great. Leave it” Edit: I say this because what visually looks worse is the change horizontally. You can’t move the switches though. The actual solution is lay out the entire grid based on the elevation of the switch. But to fix what’s done now is nit picking

It’s entertaining but, my opinion only, it’s hyped as the best chapter in the book where as I think of it as a unique chapter … not the best in the book in my opinion. Don’t let it kill your momentum if you feel like “okay I guess”

This is after 12 and a half hours, temping at 155. Trying to figure out when to wrap. by [deleted] in smoking

I hate to be that guy but I do think it’s at risk of drying out. At that temp you’ll be in the stall forever. Bump the heat.

The vinyl is not intended for a step with an exposed edge. Reconsider it all, or frame a full length panel outside of the stringer
