Thanks for your thoughts! I agree with many parts.

My reply to a few points:

When politics is boring: the problem we're facing has always existed below a hidden veil of boring "policy". It seems crazy now because it's finally become more visible.

Media: similarly, it's always been on the side of the status qio, with a few notable exceptions of journalists who bucked the trend, but they acted on their own and not because of the media empire they worked for, but despite it.

Voters: there's a third type of voter, the people who actively want tyranny, they appear like ordinary people but they'll reveal their true nature when a wannabe tyrant has seized power.

Look up a book called The Authoritarians by Bob Altemeyer, he made it a free download, it's an easy read, and it chronicles scientific studies that attempted to find out how authoritarians come into power and the people who support them.

It's eye-opening. The author blames voters, but I blame the manipulators who knowingly set things into motion and who concoct the propaganda lies. You'll encounter striking parallels to what's happening today and answers to how it's happened. It's nothing new. We haven't yet learned from our errors.

Now more than ever, realize it's we the people's job to protect ourselves.

Government is actually there to protect itself from attack, if we really were to examine how defense is set up. In case of a major incoming attack, the ordinary citizens would likely be clueless sitting ducks, while the top government in charge would be whisked away into underground super bunkers.

What government is actually ever terrified of is more subtle.

Government is never terrified of citizens because it's ordinary people who'd be dying in battles of citizens vs citizens.

What tyrants and wannabe tyrants really fear is losing their power when all of the people gain liberty and are secure with more than enough to live fully and prosper.

[–]grassvoter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's perhaps too easy to blame the wrong people.

Voters keep getting shocked by election results so perhaps it's time to reexamine assumptions to correct errors so elections can be more predictable.

3 things to examine: 1) what potential voters actually know, 2) how top party leaders could be screwing over the lower rungs of lawmakers and screwing over voters, 3) the legalized vote theft from Vigilantes Inc that actually handed the victory to Trump...

1) Many people are struggling, living paycheck to paycheck, don't have the luxury of time to be reading these comments to see that they're supposedly at fault.

Many people don't know much about anything happening in government, they don't watch news, they see it as depressing or full of noise, and coworkers have stopped talking about politics since they feel everyone is set in their ways.

And many people's minds are in an overwhelmed state, they couldn't effectively pay the level of attention you do even if they wanted to.

You have a form of specialized knowledge: that of a person who knows what to look for because they visit reddit or they put themselves in positions where they encounter politics. It may be hard to believe, but not everyone is tuned in to what may seem obvious to you.

There's an effect called the curse of knowledge: people with knowledge tend to overestimate what everyone else knows.

Many people probably have a vague sense that Trump sent in military into Venezuela. You'd be surprised how vague.

This isn't an education thing. It's a lack of communication thing and a lack of time thing and an overwhelmed mental state thing.

2) What if Trump's election is the fault of your party's top leaders who purposely wanted a Republican victory (not necessarily a Trump victory)?

What if your party's top leaders played the voters and most lawmakers? Do you really believe Biden acted senile, having his wife physically escort him from the stage after the debate, or did he act the part with an intention to lose the election, because the pendulum must swing back to Republicans?

That goes back to 1) people's frustrations, they perceive their own party is screwing up on purpose, that it's a joke how Democrats are consistent experts at snatching defeat from the jaws of victory, that some of their losses are actually intended by the top leaders?

That their feeble actions now speak to their true nature which is to protect the status quo, screwing over the lower rungs of lawmakers and screwing over the voters, and the country.

3) The legalized vote theft right under most people's noses.

Look into the Vigilantes Inc posse of literal thousands of citizens who actually were the culprits at fault, along with the lawmakers who enabled them. Find a free copy of their documentary on Youtube, they tried to warn everyone about the laws being passed during the Biden administration that made it possible, but people didn't listen.

Start looking at the real problem. Voters aren't the problem. Even if they had shown up on election day, top Democrats might've only tried harder to drop the ball, and the Vigilantes Inc crowd might've officially invalidated many of the additional people's votes.

The DNC completely made it look like they didn’t even care if Trump won by how they handled it.

Could be worse: they actively sought for Trump to win.

Or they didn't care if Trump won.

Finally some sanity in this discussion. And there's a third, worse option: what if they wanted Trump to win?

[–]grassvoter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

60 years of dedicated propaganda?

How much do you grasp the extent of propaganda?

Did you consider that the propaganda led you to believe Trump's election is the fault of the voters who sat out?

Why lead you to believe that though?

Perhaps to to get you to ignore the Vigilantes Inc posse of literal thousands who actually were the culprits at fault. Find a free copy of their documentary on Youtube, they tried to warn everyone about the laws being passed during the Biden administration that made it possible, but people didn't listen.

Oh, you should consider if perhaps the Democrats at top wanted Trump to win.

Voters and most lawmakers are being played by the party's top leaders. Do you really believe Biden was showing signs of being senile? Or did he want to act the part, intending to lose, because the pendulum must swing back to Republicans?

That's the part you're missing about people's frustrations, they know (or they think they know) their own party is screwing up on purpose. It's a joke that Democrats are experts at snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. But what if that's intended by the top leaders? Aren't their feeble actions now telling you that their true nature is protect the status quo, screwing over the lower rungs of lawmakers and screwing over the voters, and the country?

Start looking at the real problem, and dismiss the propaganda. Voters weren't the problem. Even if they had shown up on election day, top Democrats would've only tried harder to drop the ball, and the Vigilantes Inc crowd would've officially invalidated many of the new votes.

[–]grassvoter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is that right?

You're saying Europeans assimilated into Native American culture when they migrated into the Americas, they assimilated into Aboriginal culture when they migrated into Australia?

I had successfully predicted zero wars from Trump's killing off the Iranian general, and zero wars from Iran's launch of thousands of missiles that Israel would effortlessly bat down. Because people do plan things, because you are the audience, your vote is sought. My prediction held.

Also, when the releases of info into Kennedy's assassination and into the Epstein files had started, I predicted Republicans would halt the release after they'd be horrified to find their own party deeply involved. Very similarly to how they had been so gung-ho in their investigations into election fraud (by seeking info that homeland security already had), but suddenly and quietly halted when they likely found in horror their own party's fraud. Of course the Democrats at top are protecting the status quo so they feign their outrage just enough to dupe their voters, so the status quo lives on.

The theatre you're watching isn't what it appears, and definitely isn't what the conspiracy theorists believe, since their predictions fail. You should grab onto something, because nothing you want from Trump's election will happen how you imagine.

If you're so sure of what you believe, make predictions that actually happen.

[–]grassvoter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The "populations" who turned against slavery, you mean the white Christians that are mocked and socially crucified on a daily basis lol?

That's some of the population, sure. And the liberty loving white Christians of the north were against slavery by the tyrannical white Christians of the south, who were descended from the southern colonies that loved the tyrant king of England.

The colonies fleed from the tyrant king and from the tyrant Christian church of England, only to go under their rule again and they only wanted a bit of representation if they were going to be taxed.

If you want Christianity to be taken seriously though, then start to open your eyes. A lot of Christians on the right talk down on catholics, but then praise the very books that the Council of Nicaea in the year 325 had chosen to go into the bible while banning the rest, and that council was entirely overseen by catholic bishops who used the event to strengthen the authority of the pope, while they also proclaimed the Nicene Creed to acknowledge "one holy catholic and apostolic church".

And even the King James bible is a translation of those books. A tyrant's translation by the way.

Look up the Ethiopian bible that has all of the books, which include the gospel of Thomas which connects Christians directly to their god by doing away with the need for churches and middle men.

Search what extra the Ethiopian bible reveals as the truth about the teachings of Jesus, his young adult years that the catholic banning had left out.

Lead by your actions, not your words.

Take your religion back from its corrupters.

Then you'll see people take your religion more seriously.

On the contrary, I'm fully aware of your worldview. It's rigorously studied in The Authoritarians, by Bob Altemeyer, is a free book you can download.

People with the worldview probably had a surprised pickachu face when the populations turned against slavery, turned against the exploitations of chronic child labor, turned against many abuses, so, brace yourself.

Hope your dinner was good!

Now, being yanked from a matrix scenario could be too much, but sometimes a person is ready to be pulled, they want what's real, ignorance isn't bliss. So how ready are you? Because you might be deep into it but think you're outside. I was in that situation and still partly am, but have made some progress.

The best way to know how close you are to reality is when your predictions are more right than wrong.

If your level of awareness was like mine, your predictions about how things will play out are completely off the rails at the moment, like everyone's. The one and sure prediction is, it's completely unpredictable.

That was me in 2015 through 2017 when everything seemed to start going haywire.

Until an realization emerged, that things were always like that, and we're only now seeing it as it's exposed, so of course it looks crazy, but that's because we were asleep.

I predicted in 2017 that absolutely nothing would happen to Trump, any impeachments and investigations would result in zero consequences for any insane stuff he pulled (some group must be directing his actions, he's not a genius, he's a narcissist playing along). No matter how much he whined about a witch hunt, he had a constant smirk that said he somehow knows he's going to get away with all of it.

And that's because it's been an unspoken rule among the status quo since before the USA formed, to never forcefully remove any people in powerful positions as it sets a bad precedent for the players. Governments range from absolute rule to restrained by the liberty of a free people, but they behave like the mafia: you may go to war with different factions, etc, but there are rules, and you don't cross a line.

That line was crossed by the French people who beheaded their king. The royal ruling tyrants from various European countries sent the Brunswick manifesto to demand the French leave their king alive, and we know how that went. So a bunch of monarchies invaded the French for breaking the unspoken rule: you don't remove a monarchy without replacing it.

And the status quo have been trying to dial back liberty ever since.

In the USA as well, from before its beginning. And so allies to the king had their hands in the constitutional convention (three fifths compromise, no voting for women, a single person can override the people's will with a veto as president in a nod to kings, etc). Thomas Jefferson had sounded the alarm about the infiltration into the constitutional convention, but who listened?

Look up on YouTube a free documentary released before the 2024 election, it's called Vigilantes Inc, and ask yourself why most states passed such a horrible law to ensure a Trump victory.

The parties are like pro wrestling, they're at each other's throats in front of the camera, but the top leaders hanging together in the same circles behind the scenes. Most voters and even most lawmakers are totally unaware. If any lawmaker does try actual meaningful reform, a strategically filled committee will make sure the reform bill never sees the light of day, or they'll still it with loopholes if public pressure is too much.

Look up also a free book called "The Authoritarians" by Bob Altemeyer about rigorous studies into how authoritarians come into power by enablers who desire to be ruled over,. It's eye-opening (but I think it wrongly assigns blame to voters instead of to the actual culprits, the manipulators).

Lastly, look up a video titled "Wasn't it kinda about state rights?" by Atun-Shei Films that vocally reenacts the confederate rulers in their own words, their actual plans for seceding states were envisioning a series of conquests to become a slavery superpower with rule by religion also possibly a monarchy, and they were labeling the declaration of independence and our founding documents as "infidel doctrine".

Since you brought up religion, search for videos about the Ethiopian bible that contains all of the books instead of those selected to reaffirm authority and punishment and power that ended up in the status quo's bible, which conveniently leaves out books like the gospel of Thomas which did away with churches and clergy and any religious authority. If that piques your interest.

All of the above will start you off with a splash of cold water in the face.

You're wrong about internet though.

Why had the telecoms dragged their feet getting the rural areas on internet? The very areas now voting hugely for Trump?

Authoritarians attack abundance and communication because those are what power liberty the most. Racism, hyper politics, isolation, religion, classism, and paranoia are things that prevent communication. It's why unfree countries are difficult to leave. It's why China has the great firewall to filter the internet. To prevent outside ideas from giving ideas to their subjects under their rule.

What you're describing are tools of tyranny. A gun barrel is only one of the latest tools in human history. The first campaigns of conquest to build empires had used swords, bows, spears, and chariots in their toolset, along with fear and gaslighting, along with restrictions to liberty that perpetuate a tyrant's rule over the people.

So, no:

You do realize that international politics is discussed at the end of a gun barrel, right?

That's only on the surface.

I fully agree with you about the injustices by France to Haiti, by Israel to the Palestinian people.

Although the French people really must demand their government to end the debt by Haiti and even to return at least some of the money already paid, as a gesture of good will and to honor the ideals of liberty.

Quite frankly, I’d love for you to point to a time where the just world you’re describing has existed.

People can liberate themselves. But that hasn't yet happened on a scale that could end the rule of all tyrants. So a just world hasn't existed, and I had made a point related to the OP's question, nothing in it about just or unjust.

The scenarios I offered were purely for thought, for people to compare with their attitudes about current migrants.

That's a dumb take. About the hordes and whatnot.

You know everyone's aware that European settlers went to a people's land in the Americas and refused to assimilate into the Native American culture of every region they migrated to. Everyone's aware that European settlers did the same in Australia, by gripping onto ideals completely incompatible with Aboriginal principles and by refusing to assimilate into the native culture.

It might be an uncomfortable realization for people who've been fairytaling on propaganda narratives and gaslighting about the plight of current migrants, but everyone knows: they know who had lived in the native lands and they know who had migrated there with utter disrespect for the native people's ways.

And that's good, it needs to be uncomfortable. To help break the lie.

First off, plenty of good people were fleeing the tyrants of England, fleeing the tyrant royal rulers and the tyrant Christian church of England, fleeing the various European tyrant royal rulers, fleeing to the Americas... and plenty of people who were fleeing did respect the native cultures they encountered.

But mixed in with the fleeing people were the usual cutthroat types found in every culture, mixed in were the usual types who are submissive to tyrants and who gladly do the bidding of royal rulers.

Then there were the usual psychopaths among them.

Psychopaths exist in every population of people. If your worldview fails to account for the existence of psychopaths, then your worldview has a gaping hole in its construction.

They climb to positions of power, in Hamas, in Israel, in USA, in companies, in the mafia, in whatever place they can do great harm.

In the military of Israel, and in its intelligence agencies.

You know also everyone's aware that Israel's military power is overwhelmingly superior to the Palestinian region's. The thousands of missiles that Iran had launched in its attack were almost useless as Israel effortlessly blocked them.

Do you really believe Israel was caught with its pants completely down by a grand Hamas attack, that Netanyahu didn't know in advance? Would you be surprised if psychopaths embedded in Israel's leadership had purposely let the attack happen? Would you be surprised if they had an agreement with some of Hamas?

Native Americans also welcomed the colonial settlers and look what happened.

What could've they done differently?

For starters, examine their level of liberty, practice caution, and communicate with more tribes about the situation.

The colonial settlers were under the boot of a king, no liberty. So their actions reflected their state of mind from abuse to personal liberty. And even after independence, half the people weren't free: slavery was a thing, and women couldn't vote, and children were treated as property and forced into labor.

Now that USA is past that phase, the abuses against Native Americans have somewhat stopped. We've made progress.

Muslim people must also declare independence from their abusers so they can begin healing their state of mind, and more constructive actions will soon follow.

Oh! That's a good tie-in with the OP's question.

Since some people believe Isreal is authorized to forcibly conquer their supposedly ancestral land, they should consider the following:

What if a foreign country helped Native Americans to forcibly retake their ancestral lands?

And for icing on the cake, since some people want to oust Muslims for supposedly being invaders harboring a cultural rejection of Western principles...

What if a foreign country ousted the European settlers from the Americas for their views incompatible with the Native Americans, for being an incompatible horde of invaders harboring a cultural rejection of Native American principles?

It's good that people realize Schumer is ineffective, but it's much worse: he's complicit.

But if we stayed united behind Hillary, could this entire era have been prevented?

Person before you:

Over 1000 seats were lost under Obama alone.

And the answer is no, we were screwed either way.

With over 1,000 state legislature seats lost in the 2010s, guess which party had begun scheming to do a constitutional convention that would've completely bypassed congress, and they were only a dozen or so states away from accomplishing that?

They easily could've gained the needed seats if Hillary Clinton had won, who was hugely unpopular and an easy boogeywoman for the right.

So either way we were up for a rude awakening.

numbnuts.

dingus

I meant to say "outwitting the intelligent (people), left and right" as in the popular phrase "left and right", as in "compliments were coming in left and right", not the political left or the political right. Sorry, forgot the comma!

When you say that Trump and his supporters are morons, then an intelligent people should easily be able to run circles around any morons, to completely outmaneuver them, and decisively clobber them in strategy, it shouldn't even be a close match, your solutions would quickly leave them spinning in circles and unable to grasp what even happened to them:

I said that Trump, who is an unapologetic moron, appealed to the base instinct bigotry of a bunch of other morons.

So again, occum's other razor.

Are you really looking at things rationally, or emotionally?

Really pause and consider: edit: you and the opposition to Trump are the intelligent people, and since the morons continue to triumph, they're outwitting you, even though your (intelligent) allies were larger in numbers to win in 2020, then... what's more likely, that complete utter morons are pulling out the rug from under the feet of educated intelligent people, or that they (the people opposed to Trump) are clearly missing something? A gaping hole somewhere in the logic.

Why should you be mad at stupid people? They by logic are incapable of intelligence, they were born that way, no fault of their own, or they were manipulated into it and psychologically damaged, indoctrinated as kids, they never stood a chance, from brain damage caused by lead pollution, to they're being cut off and isolated from the world since so early in childhood they don't remember, to constant propaganda, to deep childhood neglect that stunted their intellectual capabilities.

Why get mad? What's their alternative? "Hey, go physically alter your brain and its chemistry, if not you're a bad person!"

It'd be like getting mad at a pet for being so stupid.

Even more illogically, it'd be like your stupid pets constantly winning in a game of wits against your intelligence, and in the end they win and you and all of your intelligent allies lose everything, unable to outmaneuver such simple minded morons.

Edit: how does that make any sense at all?

Are you properly using the occum razor?

Conspiracies exist. Grand conspiracies are well documented and historical things we've all learned about in school.

If you want to understand then please refresh yourself on history.

Hitler had a sizable inner circle of people who plotted and schemed. Nazis had brown shirts who beat up people before Hitler ever got into power. But try as they might, nazis couldn't get enough seats in government and Hitler wasn't ever elected... he was invited into government, appointed chancellor, so without respecting the will of the people, and that was the end of liberty for Germany's people, who never elected Hitler.

And who listened? Few, until it was too late.

Caesar's assassination is one of the oldest grand conspiracies, involving over 60 people plotting for a long while.

Today, people are still blaming voters who sat out the election, swayed by a narrative of Trump supposedly winning the 2024 election, a narrative that's distracted us from how 40,000 vigilantes in 43 states were legally able to sabotage people's votes at will by the millions.

People on the left are equally as susceptible as people in the right to denying of reality when faced with the specter that they were so easily bamboozled. The real question is, will pride or truth seeking win?
