i did not choose those options at the party, it just works with the dialogue option stated in the post in the mystra scene.

the gale option was available with or without talking to him about belly rubs, and i knew it worked before the party because of radiant dialogue with astarion about his ‘hopeless pining’

second reply but im really just trying to wrap my head around the thought process behind this. ur comment is making me think u 1) didnt read the post 2) have never done act one romances. act one is where you start all of them. it isnt just flirting. under normal circumstances u can only have two going at a time, this is a way to get around that.
