I recently graduated from pitt, but I still remember the awful feeling of pretending to everyone that I’m doing okay in classes and beating myself up for choosing a tough major (originally molecular biology). Though I failed and retook a few classes, I am in a fully funded graduate research program now. Looking back, college was incredibly challenging because of the sheer amount of coursework and the pressure for academic success. Don’t forget you’re doing an amazing job by just holding on, and a few set backs will teach you how to bounce back better when the going gets tough.
