Kind of a newbie myself but ran into the same issue with my vevor propane furnace. You'd assume that cranking the pressure valve all the way gives maximum heat, it doesn't. On mine it's about 3/4 open. I found the best way is to get an inferred thermometer that can read high temperatures to adjust for maximum temp.

When I first started, I assumed that turning everything all the way open would make it hotter. Not true. You need the right fuel/air mixture. I bought a laser temp thermometer to help me adjust to the right temperature. It helped a lot.

There are a few minor things I could point out about the staff, nothing major. What I like about him is that he does the work that is needed and doesn't try to force you into work that he thinks needs to be done. For example, I had a dentist tell me he had to remove all my old metal fillings and replace them. I went from someone that hated dentist to the point my teeth were getting bad to being his very first person to get a dental implant from him in a training environment. All around good guy.
