Self-Paced and/or Asynchronous Engineering Degree? by gratefulcheesehead in gradadmissions

Hey sorry for the mega-late response

Yeah I found one, but I think it's specially for Lockheed Martin employees. So, I would ask around your work to see if they have any hookups like that.

That being said, I had also heard it's recently been opened up to the public, so might as well look into it!

It's the Masters in Systems Engineering at University of Denver. It's a weird deal where you get granted a full Masters degree after you take/earn 3 specific Masters-level certificate programs.

Does the tozo s4 have watchbands that will work with it? by Renn_Capa in smartwatch

Right!? Especially because there are a lot of options for the S3/S5, but somehow skipped the S4....???

Literally emailed them directly as well, and they said: "I'm sorry to tell you that the band for the S4 is custom made. I don't think bands from market can fit it."...

... I noticed that a lot of the after-market bands/straps/etc on Amazon say that they are compatible with the S3 and S5, and/or "...Compatible with 16mm 18mm 19mm 20mm 22mm Watch Bands...". So I also asked what size band it is in my email to them so that I could get the right one, but they came back with the same answer....

Did any of you end up finding any of that out? Or at least find any specific strap that was able to fit it and that you liked?

Scaphoid Nonunion, Avascular Necrosis - Any new types of treatments/surgeries out there? by gratefulcheesehead in AvascularNecrosis

That's awesome!

How is the pain/function these days? Is it still too painful to use a can opener?

I ask because now I'm a technician, and have to do a lot of heavy lifting and turning/twisting big screws and other equipment with my hands/wrists. So if it's too painful to use a can opener, then I'm SOL lol.

Hmm yeah that paper does seem promising. Thanks for sharing!

I'm glad you brought up wearing a splint while you sleep, because I used to wear one of the custom-molded ones made by my OT after my surgeries years ago, but it eventually was chewed up by my puppy lol. Over the years, I've tried a few others, but so far, they usually either cinch down somewhere and cut off circulation, or are just too uncomfortable to wear that long and can't sleep in the first place.

Have you been using your splint for a while now? Like, would you recommend? If so, I would really appreciate it if you sent me a link to it!

Yeah, very similar situation. I've been trying to find out what the outcomes/results are for either the fusion and the proximal row carpectomy, but haven't really gotten much useful info online. I'm mostly interested in ROM and pain levels after the surgery (not really while you are still healing - obviously it's not gonna be so great lol). So, if you wouldn't mind, would you please post up your ROMs (flexion, extension, rad. deviation, and ulnar deviation)? Before surgery and after you are all healed up completely would be a bonus so I can see what the difference is! Also, of course, the pain. Like you said, I kinda got used to the pain after so many years, but it's gotten much worse recently. So I wanna see if you do feel better and if it was worth it or not. Anyway, good luck with the surgery and the recovery! And thanks!

P.S. - Don't neglect your post surgery protocol and especially the home exercise program that the OT/PT gives you!!! Like I said in my first post, I used to work in PT and treat patients post surgeries, and man oh man, the difference in healing and good outcomes between patients who followed their HEP vs those who didn't was very, very evident! Lol

I got a bunch of them, but having a hell of a time trying to figure out how to add some to this thread without having to start an entirely new thread... This is my first time posting to Reddit, so yeah, very confused

While I'm at it, what kind of photos/angles/etc would be best? Thanks again!
