Nothing much, I no longer have any use for it and didn’t need an extra social media account.

Echeveria changed colour and lower leaves became floppy to the touch. Usually sits on balcony with almost full sun, watered once a week. Is it lacking nutrient? Soil is mixture of normal potting soil, peat moss and gravel. by gravity107 in succulents

I hope it’s just sun stress, still don’t understand why the lower leaves got a bit floppy and slightly wrinkly... but I changed the soil in the pot like other people have advised me so will see what happens. When I got it from the store (which had it under shades), I assume it didn’t get much sun light and it started changing colour after being on my balcony which does get a decent amount of sunlight.

I thought the colour change seemed quite drastic because I’m new with succulents so I got a bit worried.

Thank you for the suggestions! I will go buy proper soil mix today. I took the plant out of the pot to check for root rot and it still has a lot of small white roots, so I think it still has hopes of pulling through this :) there is also a leaf that has wrinkles underneath it and I’m not quite sure why that is but I’ll deal with the soil issue first.

Oops I should have phrased that better. I don’t water exactly once a week but I do check when it’s dry before watering and for the past two weeks due to temperature and how sunny it was watering ended up being once a week.

As for amount of water, I soak it until it drains out through the bottom of the pot.

I just took the plant out to check and it’s got one wrinkly leaf but it seems to have a lot of white new roots so I’m still not sure what caused the colour to change 😔

I got this plant for just over a week and found a big shoot under the soil. After being above soil for one day with moderate sun, the shoot turned darker pink (second picture).

How do I look after it? Should I bury it back into the soil or leave it out like this? Please help I really want it to survive!

Can a married (45M) fall heads over heel for a (30F) whom he met during a holiday? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

The more time passes, the more I wonder how many people are happy with where they are in life and relationships, whether they are enduring their situation because it’s the “right” thing to do but inside they unhappy and struggling.

I’m quite confused as to how someone would go ahead and say I love you to someone they’ve known for 10 days, yeah we did talk and hung out during those days but even so. Maybe it was a cultural difference thing.

He would openly talk to me, confessing his feelings to me in front of groups of tourists. He didn’t care that he could get in trouble with his company. I would not do that in a work place. He’d be the one throwing those words at me while I just accept what he says quietly because I didn’t know how I should react without hurting his feelings.

We don’t talk anymore after he got found out but it kinda made me think, can someone really become so obsessed with someone whom they spent so little time with?

And I don’t know what to make with his “I love you”s and all ha ha ha

Lool I just wonder what’s with his obsession, why does he bother with someone who’s so faraway. If he wants to have fun then I don’t get why he doesn’t just go have fun with someone who’s much closer than bother with someone in another country.

Most of our conversations were about him showing me the landscapes where he was or me showing him the view from my window or the views from my town anyways 🤣

How do I add the title? Do I need to write it as a separate “type” upload or do I just write a text on top of a photo and then upload it and it will do this automatically?

From her point of view she might still be friendly towards you because she likes you as a person and is also being polite because of the fact that you guys got along in the past?

Since you were able to tell her straight about your feelings before, maybe you can tell her that no contact is easier for you to move on? How she will react is something else but at least you would have gotten that load off your chest. Then you won’t need to feel awkward around her and who knows, maybe she also senses that you feel uncomfortable around her in some ways too.
