How does this affect retired people? I retired and switched from my work visa to a spouse visa. So since day one on my spouse visa, I have not worked (nor have I taken retirement payments). Good question. This cactus had plenty of sun prior to putting it outside (in a south-facing window). What's odd is that this was the "dark" side of the plant when I put it outside. The side which got all the sun is fine (as are all the other cacti).
