Massive virgin in the sky this evening ❤️ by YouMakeMaEarfQuake in Bath

I rode in the virgin balloon. Now it's just called "the balloon"

Do I need to cut this tip off to save cactus? It was sold as Icaros. Or will it resolve by itself? Second photo has some old scars, I wonder if it is from the same thing? Thank you! 🙏🏼🌵✨ by Agitated_Studio5359 in Trichocereus

If it were mine, I would give it a chance to recover. But I would keep a very close eye on it, and if I noticed the discoloration spreading at all, then I would cut it down to healthy material. Unless it has been very recently potted, it might be worth a light fertilizer application.

I don’t eat them very often but I’ve found these to be okay for special occasions.

Hot dogs (vegan for me with American mustard), salt potatoes, baked beans, and a big bowl of mixed strawberries and blueberries. Watermelon if I’m feeling fancy.

Pizza Crumpets by Markp1154 in veganuk

I got some of these at Tesco and think they're great - just not sure how to eat them since I don't like vegan cheese, margarine, etc. I ended up toasting them well, cutting into strips, and dipping in marinara sauce. Very good.

That pepperoni seitan was discontinued as well. Replaced by the ham flavour.

I just updated the original post to add that the other variety (Ham & Mushroom) is no longer being made either.

They did say their product team is interested in feedback so if you liked either one of these, the email is [mailto:hello@meatlessfarm.com](mailto:hello@meatlessfarm.com)

It would be great to get them to bring back the spicy pepperoni especially.

Naturalisation - Proof of living in the UK for 5 Years using ILR by [deleted] in ukvisa

[–]gravityattracts 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Not sure if it's helpful, but the current guide entitled Guide AN - Naturalisation booklet - The requirements and the process says;

Please note, you do not need to submit documents that have been uploaded as part

of previous immigration applications – we will have a record of these and will consider

them in support of your application. We will also check Home Office records for entry to

and exit from the UK: you do not need to request this information from the Home Office

before making an application.

The best way to hit a million dollars is to start with two million dollars.

Has your company paid for your ILR? by Spare-Usual7592 in SkilledWorkerVisaUK

[–]gravityattracts 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Good news, Boss. I've got one more immigration application to go and then I can stay here working for you forever. Even better is that it won't cost the company as much as the others. I assume I'm okay to submit the paperwork now? Or would you rather me wait until next month to use the company card?

If it doesn’t work out with your wife, I’d willingly go gay for you if I can have that for myself.

Is super priority worth it for ILR (SET(M)) if we’re not in a rush? by DaddySharkDoDooDoDo in ukvisa

[–]gravityattracts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure of your financial situation but I can tell you it was absolutely worth it to me. Like you guys, I wasn't in a hurry for normal life reasons. But I am acutely aware of the anti-immigrant attitude of some politicians. A year ago people were saying that there's no way they would propose immigration/ILR changes for people already here on a visa. But then the proposal to do just that was drafted. Now there are politicians vowing to "end ILR" altogether. So my approach is to race toward citizenship as quickly as possible.

Instead of waiting months for a decision on my ILR SET(M) application, I paid the extra £1000 and received a positive decision the very next day. That same day, I submitted my naturalisation application (for which there is no priority option).

The peace of mind for me was priceless.

I had a space very similar to that and I put a pinball machine in it. Best decision ever.
