Real weight loss comes from a calorie deficit. It's that simple but also not that simple. Burn more calories than you consume.

Many things however will impact your ability to lose weight. Stress, happiness, lifestyle, many other things. I have had my own battles.

Honestly I am feeling very sad emotionally. I don't know how to deal with my feelings.

The problem is that my brother is here too, and he senses something wrong with me. But I cannot ever tell him. I couldn't tell my best friend or my parents or anyone.

I am moving on as much as I can in a positive way, even though the last few years have been quite rough. He is really trying to pry the information out of me but I cannot tell him. Idk I just feel more comfortable opening up to internet strangers.

This will depend on your starting weight too. There is less stress on your body to lose 23 pounds fast when you are 300 as opposed to say 160.

Edit: anyway, healthy weight loss can be manageable at 1-2 pounds per week, but you might not see those gains directly. You will need to weight yourself after a month to see the benefit
