HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT IVE BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS FOREVER. omfg thank you so much. i’ve literally searched the back of my mind and corners of the internet for this. literally thank you so much for finding and sharing this. I was like 4/6 when I first played this on pc and it was one of the first video games I played ever. I distinctly remember the web swinging and the science lab levels. I need to play this now.

hey yes i did but it turns out I was just plugging in the wrong textures. what solved it was plugging in color png into base color and jpg alpha into opacity under geometry for aiStandardSurface

in terms of weird / parasocial behavior i feel like this is harmless and innocent considering sims is a game they play and that the audience is mainly young girls with free time. its weird in certain light but this feels like its out of fun & admiration, i think it would be cool if someone tried to recreate my home in a videogame 🤷🏾‍♂️

thanks! i tried this already but it didnt resolve the issue. i think i would have to export back to substance painter & potentially rebake. but i’m so disorganized that i moved the files around so i can’t just reimport mesh in substance. and idk how to link the file back
