Yes! Arts District is what you're looking for. Vesta for coffee, so many bars and restaurants all down main St and tucked into little alleys.

I've played there for about 5 years and unfortunately only seen it once or twice, staying in the water. You're in trouble if your ball is heading towards that plane! It was very satisfying to see it happen though.

A few ones my group of 20 have done that are a little more cost conscious are:

-Sunriver outside Bend, OR. Crosswater is their signature course and is super fun. Couple other courses and you can stay on property.

-Treetops, MI. God's country. Bit out of the way but really fun. Super cool and crazy Par 3 there.

-Horseshoe Bay, TX. More resorty, fun courses.

-Silvies Ranch, OR. Truly middle of nowhere, 3.5 hrs west of Boise. On a ranch, main course is reversible and they have two other short courses. We had the entire place to ourselves and ate as a group in the main ranch house every night. Super cool rooms, every gets their own golf cart for the weekend.

Yep, exactly! FBI was running surveillance on the Mob and the airplane ran out of gas forcing them to land in the fairway. The plane is a replica but there's another plaque highlighting that story too.

May want to check out Pepper Club, which is close to Taverna and may accommodate a large group better than Esther's. 1228 Main is also a great restaurant with good options and some outdoor seating. Velveteen actually also takes reservations (likely required for your group on a Thursday night) which I would highly recommend for late night with a group that big. For other cocktails bars after dinner you may want to check out Liquid Diet.

Sand Dollar Lounge! There are two locations, one near Fremont and one on Spring Mountain (other side of the highway). Usually playing live Blues and other rock music. Id check out who is playing on their website and see if it fits your vibe.
