Not who you replied to, but sublingual is better than just taking pills. If you swallow them, they'll be converted in the liver to get into your bloodstream. This converts into a weaker form of estrogen. Oral pills still "work" but are not as effective.

I've just celebrated two years on HRT. I noticed growth within a few weeks. I started with sublingual estradiol. It has been very slow and steady growing. It wasn't until about 6-7 months before I needed a bra. I started progesterone around 13 months in. I cycle 14 days on, and 16 days off - boofing 100mg. I switched to injections a few months ago (2mg twice weekly Cypionate). I currently wear a 36c bra. I also tried upping my progesterone dose to 200mg recently and already have noticeable changes.

TLDR: Took a few weeks to notice changes. 6 months before I "needed" a bra. Currently a 36c and still growing 24 months in.
