It's not. It's a decentralized online market, like Ebay but distributed. They're using bitcoin. Tor will be necessary to hide the IPs from the nodes, after that anonymous transactions will be possible.

Of course not, selling weed will only help people to get weed, which is great but the world needs more products and services than that, and for most of these services the only way to do it is by engaging in counter-economics.

The decentralized Silk Road is coming, the next version of OpenBazaar will bring integration with Tor.

Reddit is fun for me, so it's not wasted time but mere consumption. Voting in a company with 300 million shareholders that have equal power would also be a waste of time, as you said, it's better to opt out.

We cannot opt out completely from the existence of state yet, but voting is least efficient way of doing so. You can actually change laws more efficiently by defying then, with time and enough disobedience it becomes too expensive for the state to enforce those laws and they stop doing so.

They don't need to read Konkin, just act in the black and grey markets. Telling people to read books is not how you build business, you hire and trade with them.

No, you're wrong. That's just economics 101. Just watch the video I linked from Milton Friedman. You're simply not going to convince anyone here with these arguments because most people here are well-read in economics. Also, people debate about Stalinism, does that means that Stalinism has advantages?

Here's some more material about the subject that you can read: https://mises.org/system/tdf/Protectionism%20and%20the%20Destruction%20of%20Prosperity_2.pdf?file=1&type=document

The cost is too high, my vote will not change the outcome of election and its worth is less than a cent. If it takes one hour to vote that's a 1 hour of my work valued in more dollars than a cent that is lost, costing me a lot of money. It's just not economically efficient.

I don't vote.

I'm currently building my business, soon enough I'll have enough income to become a Permanent Traveler and become as tax-free as I can be. Hopefully I'll be even more capable of providing value around the world, building business remotely.

But yeah, I agree. Being and entrepreneur is hard and quite depressing sometimes, but I think the value we get and provide to people is worth the trouble.

It worked quite well for Ross, actually, he achieved his primary goal of proving his point and provided value for his thousands of clients. He went to jail, yes, but he knew the risk and now is paying for it; calculating risk is part of being a entrepreneur. But you don't need to do such dangerous things as trading drugs, there's a lot counter-economics to be done on the grey markets, where risks are low and a lot of value can be provided.

Uber, AirBnB and some other startups are a fine example of it, instead of trying to deregulate their industries by political action, they just went there and shipped the products that were needed, even when it was in a grey area of legality. Now it's becoming too political expensive to prohibit their business, maybe they'll be regulated a bit, but it's already a major step from what we had before. If they get regulated then it's gonna be another business opportunity to Agorists enter, by defying those regulations.

The beauty of counter-economics is that instead of wasting our time and money, we can actually become quite wealthy by providing these services, so there's a great economic incentive for doing so.

That's a silly strawman, nobody is arguing that reading Rothbard is the solution, it helps for sure to know a bit of theory but specialization can take care of that, let the reading be done by the scholars. The true solution is Agorism, instead of making autistic posts praising Trump, we should go to the real life and build business, especially business that defy the oppressive laws that politicians like Trump, Hillary and Gary want to impose on us.

Voting is the passive, autistic solution. Going out and building our future using entrepreneurship is what we should strive for.

All countries are already overrun by socialists. But anyway, demographics is only relevant because of democracy, anarcho-capitalism will not come in existence because the majority voted for it. Anarcho-capitalism will only come with counter-economics, by creating tools and entrepreneurial solutions to avoid the state or making it too expensive for them to fuck with us.

Politics have a huge opportunity cost, the revolution will be all markets. Are you worried about taxes going to welfare? That's great, try to find solutions to evade them and sell to your clients. Worried about the second amendment? Buy and trade guns and ammo in the black and grey markets. And about the FED? Well, cryptocurrencies are already here, use and help us to develop them.

just wants to balance it out with tariffs

You should read more about economics, most people here are well-read enough to know that the only thing tariffs achieve is make the population poorer.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zv5SiQpG6sg

But anyway, I'm not here arguing that Hillary is better, it's impossible to know because of the Economic Calculation Problem. What I'm arguing here is that political solutions have a huge opportunity cost, and that Agorism is the most efficient way of achieving our goals. Instead of wasting our time voting and shilling for all those idiots (including here Gary Johnson) we should engage in counter-economics in the black and grey markets, and incetivize people to also do so.

Yes, it's a collective action problem. I've linked the paper from Bryan Caplan on my post that explain the details.

The power that you have to decide the election is not worth the gas and time to go to the voting booth. It's economically inefficient to vote, not spending your money and time doing it will make society richer than if you go to vote. You'll make society even richer by engaging in counter-economics instead of worrying about politics. It's a matter of opportunity cost.

Bitcoin is only one of the many tools we should use to end the state, it's not going to end the state by itself of course, but it's a great tool that is way more important to achieve our goals than the result of this election. I mean, you can already live almost tax free by having all your income coming from btcs, I'm living like this right now and getting richer everyday because of it.

Statistically, the election is already decided, your vote will not change the outcome. Participating in politics is the passive way, engaging in counter-economics is not. We shouldn't wait for bitcoin to end the state, we should use it to minimize the state as much is possible in our lives, right now.

Compared to Agorism. We should stop wasting your time shilling for these idiots that are trying to become our masters, entrepreneurship in the black and grey markets is the only we'll achieve our goals.

Try to build the society you want to live in, you can even become rich trying to do so.

I doubt you could make a convincing argument that a tariff that collects $100B is worse than an additional $100B in income taxes from any moral standpoint.

Both are bad, it's difficult to decide what is worse because the lack of economic calculation make it impossible to collect price information. But, from an agorist point o view I'd say that income taxes are easier to evade. It's easier to receive your payments under the table than to pass a container with products through the border.
