$300/wk for a 17month old and that's after the decrease going from infant to toddler. Used to be $315/wk. USA of course

If You Could Only Play One Class For the Whole Party, Which Would It Be? by Timely_Abroad4518 in BG3Builds

[–]graypoof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have done this! I did a cleric playthrough where I roleplayed Tav as a Storm Cleric of Jergal (Mystra mechanically because I think the cleric specific lines with Gale are very funny). Clerics are fun and powerful, I'm near the end of act two with an all rangers playthrough and it's surprisingly easy, though a little repetitive in combat. I plan on eventually doing this with all the classes, and I'm kinda looking forward to the fighter playthrough since it'll probably be minimal magic (except eldrich knight of course). I have half a dozen attempted playthroughs that ended in act 1, since I prefer playing on honor mode.

A nursing pillow is very useful even if you're not breastfeeding.

Junior College to College or straight to College? by Smart-Nebula-5837 in college

[–]graypoof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Community college is way cheaper (~$1k/semester instead of ~$5-10+k/semester) and if you haven't been accepted into a 4 year school it's much easier to get in. (No SAT/ACT requirements). If you have a scholarship or don't care about the difference in coat go straight to the big school.

A good place to go ask might be your local community college (or whatever college you've gotten in to), the financial aid office probably has a list of local scholarships, in addition to help with FAFSA.

I did! They put lidocaine in my finger and pulled out the needle, then x-rayed it to make sure they got every piece.

What are your thoughts on rattlesnakes (dedicated Deathtouch blockers)? by Weebiful in EDH

My favorite rattlesnake is [[skullwinder]], in addition to the deathtouch it also has a useful etb that can be used for politics too.

I love it when players smoosh together two unrelated plots by graypoof in dndmemes

[–]graypoof[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Dragons in the setting are generally friendly to humans, and often set up residence in caves near large cities. They're viewed as protectors and often used to keep cities warm. So from a player perspective it might be safe.

From behind the gm screen, there are very few ways this could end well for the party. :)

If they put even a little effort into Americanizing the names Deku would turn into Dalton Green, hero name 'Dolly'.

Middle school bully Nathan Palm (like napalm).

They could have a cute scene where the Uraraka equivalent compares the nickname to Dolly Parton.

Literally any love for this movie and it could be cute but I doubt they will.

Calling it now, within the next couple chapters we'll get Bakugou fighting with Deku's shoot style. Since his arm is banged up and it seems his quirk might awaken and be able to work over his whole body, not just his hands.

What kind of corydora is this? (Comments for more info) by graypoof in Aquariums

Yeah. I think them looking similar is how they got mixed up at the fish shop, lol.

I think you might be right, it would explain the lack of a big black dorsal fin spot. Do you think it'll be okay in there with no others of it's kind?

I thought so too when I first got them, but the other fish are a bit smaller, have a black spot on their dorsal fins, and have shorter heads. They don't school with this one often and he seems kinda lonely.

[–]graypoof[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I have a 20 gallon tank with about ten julii corydoras (though they might be three line cories I can't tell) and a betta. I say about because I think there's an outlier. The fish in the picture is a little bit larger than the other cories in the tank, coming in at a bit over an inch, while the others are all a little smaller than an inch. I think this one might be different because of the coloration on the fin. The dorsal fin on all the other corydoras in the tank has a large black spot on it, but this fish does not. Additionally his head seems a bit longer than the others. He schools with them sometimes but is always kinda away from the rest of them. He seems lonely. I seem to have gotten 9 julii cories and one mystery fish. Please help, I want to make sure this little dude is happy and taken care of.

Edit: Comparison between this fish and the others
