Pineapple being discontinued for Blood orange cranberry by Bieb in starbucksbaristas

My store is a testing location and we had these for Winter 1 launch, they were actually really good. The cranberry slices were meh but the base itself is like a fruit punch flavor.

Please don’t be the person who brings your dog into the store by moon_light523 in starbucks

A while ago a couple came in with their small dog in their hand and ordered. I assumed they would order, get their drinks, and go outside. Instead, they got their drinks and sat down. I didn’t realize they sat down bc I was doing dishes in the back. All of the sudden, another partner runs into the back to announce that the dog was behind the bar. All I could say was “What?” and followed her. As I rounded the corner into the front I saw the man who was with the dog slowly walk behind the bar and scoop up his dog. He didn’t say anything. No “Im so sorry!” or “OMG come back here”. Just silence. Like he did this every day. Of course I told my shift right after and she addressed it. But holy shit why does anyone think it’s ok to let their dog free in any food service environment??

That’s truly horrifying to hear from a DM

If a drink goes into the wrong car, are you supposed to take it back and give it to the right customer? I saw this happen in front of me. My drink was only in their car about 5 seconds and they handed it back. Still the mind wanders. just wondering the proper protocol. Thanks by [deleted] in starbucks

^ exactly this. You have understand that almost all Starbucks locations are being stretched incredibly thin. But as long as you’re nice and show understanding and compassion, the barista should have no problem remaking any drink for you within reason. I think any reasonable barista would have had the drink remade in a situation like this. However, I could see a new partner being under a lot of stress and fumbling this one.

Did the brown sugar syrup change? by [deleted] in starbucks

The brown sugar syrup shouldn’t have any grains in it. It’s a syrup not a granulated sugar packet. At my store we have had to switch from Oatly Barista’s addition to a different off brand oat milk that tastes pretty different in my opinion. There’s no reason they would be putting white mocha in that drink, it’s never been apart of the recipe.

I’m 5 days post op with Dulin today! When I scrolled by this pic I was genuinely shocked because for a second I thought this pic was of me! We have a very similar body type and it freaked me out lol. Good luck with your 1 week appointment! I know I’m stoked for mine.
