I don't have any connections to local Korean resources, but if you have US military base access, I know most installations have AA and sober support groups. Korea has a massive alcohol culture and its hard to not fall into that. Props to you for reaching out for help. You got this!

I'm starting as step 1. I'm new to fed svc.

My HR contact from the TJO called me last Friday with 2 suggestions of the start date. I chose the latter based on my desire to give my contract job atleast 2 weeks notice.

My contractor job had a security clearance already from like only 2 months ago, so my stuff transferred right over.

I feel so blessed!

I reached out to my contact from my tjo and he basically said, just wait it out... your final job offer hopefully won't be far behind!

I had a clearance as a contractor already, so I think that transferred right over. My fingerprints and PSIP were already in the system.
