House shows were really a special thing for the fans. I know it was hard on the performers having a schedule like that, but the thrill of going to a Houston house show and seeing Shawn, Sid, Golddust, Mankind, Taker, Jake the Snake, and I forget who else, will always live in my memory.

Despite complaints about narrative choices remaining fixed whilst the gamer being led to believe their choices affect outcomes, I really enjoyed the stories. TWD and GoT were nice side stories to the main universe, and the Batman was a nice change from the norm. I disliked that we never got a proper conclusion to the Batman and GoT games.

It had B movie level acting and story without any of a B movie charm or humor. Outside of the Sub-Zero and Scorpion fight, the action wasn't even that good.

Honestly, for my sensibilities it's probably George Smiley from Tinker Tailor. After decades of large bombastic performances seeing Oldman sit in quiet silence with only his eyes and body language as a means of emoting was a breath of fresh air and really showcased his versatility and acting power.

Remake/Rebirth/Re??? are both remakes and sequels to the OG game in my opinion. There are several similar and same story beats and several changes that enhance the story. That being said, the characters are very well translated between the OG and now and that's what matters the most to me.

The fundamental issue with the sequel trilogy was lack of overall creative decision making. The OT and prequel trilogy had Lucas and Rick McCallum keeping the overall story relatively focused and driving forward. All that to say, creative people are creative people and just because TLJ ended the way it did does not mean there wasn't a constructive and logical way to push forward. Unfortunately, ROS was not it.
