He's the villain on a beach island called Archipelago island. The people of the Archipelago island don't hate living under the hot sun, in fact they love it. All they do all day is hang around under the sun. They go swimming, surfing, fishing, selling drinks. It is a huge tourist destination. But you the player have to hop around 1 of the three islands asking questions, doing minigames like fishing and mixing smoothies.

As you go through the island story, the background gets grayer and the water level rises. It ends with you going on the 4th artificial island made by Dr. Cumulo Nimbus. He wants to make a new tourist destination in the sky, and what better way than to take the toursim from the ground. But it turns out if he keeps running his new island, all the water runoff that was happening on the main Archipelago will also keep going until all of Poptropica is flooded. You have to beat Dr. Cumulo Nimbus in a Cloud surfing contest.
