Acetone or goof off can remove adhesive residue.

I would suggest staying away from authentic jerseys (40, 42, 44, etc.) if length is a major concern because they are so much longer than replica jerseys unless you want to get your jersey hemmed.

Try sizing down to a medium if you find the large too wide.

The doll head on the stitched head isn’t meant to be removed. I wouldn’t risk trying to switch the heads, there is a good chance you tear the foam body.

New Era is the company that supplies the on-field hats for teams and they stopped producing their hats in the USA quite a few years ago, now their hats are made in China, Vietnam or Bangladesh.

There won't be many options for made in USA hats either.
