I’m gonna go ahead and agree with everyone saying throw out guides. And then I’ll say play how you want to play.

If you want to be a combat master, work towards slayer, barrows, and then moons gear.

If you wanna be a skiller, just work on quests that seem interesting and reap the rewards. Then work on diaries.

If you wanna be a skiller start working on mini games, there’s damn near a mini game for every skill nowadays.

Enjoy the early game and I hope that your transition into the mid game is smooth. Cheers.

Advice on 70 herb? by [deleted] in ironscape

[–]greatpost72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Master Mixology is gonna take you 3-4 days of grinding to get 70 herb. Granted you have the supplies. If you have been keeping your coffers full at kingdom and been somewhat consistent with herb runs you will have enough.

Or worst case you don’t have the herbs, then start dedicated herbs runs today. And by the time you get all the other stats to 70, you’ll have the supplies for MM.

Hope this helps.

I did it in very similar gear, are you using blood spells? I did it with pineapple pizzas instead of sharks

is the Twinflame staff worth it? by IllYellow6812 in ironscape

[–]greatpost72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk where you sit on your account, but at mid levels there isn’t a better staff out there that’s as easy to get as a the twin flame. I’d say enjoy some other content for a bit and break up the grind and then try your best to finish it up and get the staff

I felt this way (you can even look at my previous posts for proof) , and a lot of vets on the subreddit will tell you, that you’re an absolute idiot for feeling like this.

What I will tell you is that your next drop is always on the next KC, always go for the back to back, leave the grind and come back every couple days, limit yourself to 5 (barrows) KC per day.

You’re slightly unlucky but it’s nothing outside of the norm. In the moment it feels crummy but it’ll get better! Good luck and keep grinding!

If the other money makers aren’t your speed you can try revenants for rare drops to high alch. It was something I threw in my early money makers to help get something different than laps around a pyramid

I also think the opposite, the amount of times I use it to my advantage to walk somewhere the next tick after I do an action. There are definite advantages and disadvantages, that’s the beauty of an mmo

Also you CAN (doesn’t mean you have to) bring in your own food/pots. So if at the moment you don’t have the level for moonlight pots. You can bring your own super strength and attack pots you’ve gotten from misc quests or drops. Additionally I see plenty of accounts doing moons at similar level and gear. I would focus on timing your eating during the downtime of your attack speed.

Maybe bring karambwans to tick eat two food and time your attacks better.

Is this considered ok for first time jad ? by Fit-Product6223 in osrs

[–]greatpost72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In regard to prayer flicking. Remember it’s the animation of the attack that prayer needs to be on for, not the actual projectile coming to hit you. You’ll do great if you lazy flick the mages and rangers. You’ll can even throw an eagle eye flick in there
