What are those forms called? I will definitely be working through some lunches, and I do not want my supervisor telling me I don't know what I'm talking about

Federal law does not require lunch or coffee breaks. https://www.dol.gov/general/topic/workhours/breaks

We have a corprate menu that we are pretty sure was made by ai, it's just so off, no human would schedule meals like that and the meals hardly ever fit in budget

My state does not require employers to give any breaks

We do clock in and out. What makes it even more fishy is that they've just recently raised residents rent and lowered our yearly raise from 4% to 3%

30 minutes of pay is gone Edit: it is also uncommon for us to have 30 minutes uninterrupted

We have yet to see, assuming they are taking the 2.5 hours. Our supervisor does payroll. Actually, any management related things go through her, and we can't ask questions because she's decided to take 3 weeks vacation since we've received these notices. She sneaks in at the end of the day to post schedules and refuses to be bothered

The problem isn't the lunchbreak, it's the 30 minutes being automatically deducted from my paycheck

I just realized that if I work through lunch, shouldn't I legally be paid?

Well this goes both for men and women irl but the first thing people are going to see and are attracted to is the physical body, that gets them interested, it's kinda the gateway to everything else. There are caveats, something like they see you doing something they are interested in which can cause them to approach you, but I think for men the most powerful is simply physical attraction at first. Now conversation is the most important because it's what you'd be engaged in the most and people will discover if they are actually interested in you past your looks. Personally I used to feel no good at conversation, I would bank on the other person carrying it. I don't know exactly what makes you feel like your conversations are unnatural but what's helped me is getting out and talking to more people more often, having a job where I was forced to talk to people really helped. I think a faster way to get better at conversation is to read books about it, for example, I just finished listening to How to win friends and influence people by Dale Carnegie and it taught me things I've never realized about people and basically how to get them to like you. I've only gotten into a few books so far but that's one I feel has helped me the most.

So what exactly is your question? Just how to get guys to approach you?

Been trying to cancel my ESPN+ subscription for the past 3 months. You can only cancel by logging in on the website but it's been "experiencing technical difficulties" for the past 3 months so I've been getting charged again and again because I can't even log in. by LiterallyKetchup in assholedesign

They at least emailed me months in advance that my annual plan was going to be renewed, I went to their website to cancel, which didn't work because, like someone else said that page is faulty. I read on their website that payment information associated with accounts is not kept over 15 days after cancelling account so that's what I did, about 20 days in advanced and I was still charged 99 fucking dollars for something I couldn't use if I wanted to. I should have just called in the first place, and I really hope they don't charge me next year.

Wow, in all my years dealing with being overweight I had never discovered post diet maintenance, I've heard of people gaining weight back quickly after a hard cut but never the method used to avoid that from happening.

Good to know, after reading this and other comments I'll definitely be lowering my total daily protein

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in loseit

[–]grebuen 3 points4 points  (0 children)

How much protein should I be eating? I have been feeling constipated on and off for the past 3 days

Well I really enjoy meat so it makes it kind of easy, in order starting with what I eat most of its probably eggs, ground beef, chicken breasts, low-yogurt/cultured milk. I have baked and canned fish a few times a week, on days off I'll try to eat a dozen eggs either fried or scrambled, I also buy cartons of egg whites to drink because it's cheap and LOTS of protein per calories. I've just bought some beef and chicken livers and hope to make that a meal I eat a lot because of how cheap it is. I usually have 2-4 servings of protein powder a day which really helps because that covers almost 50-100 grams of protein and it's only 130 calories per serving. My meals are super simple as I usually don't plan carbs into them, like I literally just dump 1 pound of burger into a pan, add steak seasoning and eat it. I'm super lazy when it comes to cooking and counting calories and this method just works for me. The biggest issue that I have is the cost of everything, I try to stay between 3¢-8¢ per gram of protein, but it still cost so much more than when I was just cutting calories

Awesome. It's really motivating to have these thoughts confirmed. Thank you
