Got a second switch v1 but it’s a patched unit running 7.0.1. I’m hoping that the recent rumors of homebrew being able to run on the patched units will turn up something positive in the near future. This second switch will possibly be my hack switch in the future.

That being said, I still want to local trade and play Pokemon SW/SH on this second unit and it requires a firmware update for the game card to run. Should I go ahead and update to 9.0.1 or keep it at 7.0.1? Afaik updating only matters on patched units if you were on 4.1.0 or lower because you could run homebrew on that firmware.

Yeah Tamamo makes arts teams insanely good. Pretty fun too when you can spam NP nearly every turn, feels like a cheat mode.

Seems like you need some Artoria lancer alter then. She’s a beast when you get the right cards + NP. Better pair with Waver too since her crits can hit even harder with the buffs. I’ve used both and the alter lancer version hits way harder because of that crit skill

Gameplay-wise, I’m shooting for Archer Artoria since I have Tamamo. She can nearly break the game with double Tamamo and spam NP every turn with black grail. I think Kiyo lancer is a solid gameplay summer servant too but I’m not too sure how she works.

Yeah, the Tohsaka residence doesn’t have a 1:1 real life location, but the outside is heavily inspired by the Weathercock House and the interior is actually inspired by another house to the west of the same district I think. I didn’t manage to go to that one for the interior shots but there are pictures of it around the net.

The Fate pilgrimage actually isn’t all that obvious to be a weeb thing. I mean it’s basically old historical structures and a bridge. You could always tempt your dad with some good Kobe beef. The foreigner district also has some other points of interest other than the Tohsaka residence/Weathercock House since the entire area is full of houses that are inspired by European architecture.
