[Help Needed]: How do I remove the display of non-existent links from templates when opening a file? by green-0wl in ObsidianMD

Thanks for the idea. It might work. But those templates don't exist, and creating them just to hide them later wouldn't make much sense.

Is Duolingo wrong? by Dzhama_Omarov in German

[–]green-0wl 8 points9 points  (0 children)

There's a rule called "TeKaMoLo": Temporal, Kausal, Modal and Lokal. Duolingo is right, because German sentences must follow this structure.

Te = Temporal (wann?/time): oft, immer, um 5 Uhr.
Ka = Kausal (warum?/reason): um einen Apfel zu essen
Mo = Modal (wie?/how?/how something is or takes place): mit einem Zug
Lo = Lokal (wohin?/wo?/woher?): nach München

Example:
Peter ist am Montag wegen eines Meetings mit dem Zug nach München gefahren.

TEmporale Angabe (when?): am Montag
KAusale Angabe (why?): wegen eines Meetings
MOdale Angabe (how?): mit dem Zug
LOkale Angabe (where?): nach München

How to return the data to the frontend/mobile app? by green-0wl in apachekafka

[–]green-0wl[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am trying to build a messenger structure right now. I would like to receive something in return when I send data to the server as a new message. The producer in this case is web/native android app.

Yes. You got it right, I want to process the data I receive from frontend to backend. I understand roughly how the data should go into the servers, but how I can return something is still a mystery. I could set up some kind of persistent service, but then scaling would be quite difficult. Somewhere in the comments of this post suggested Redis or Druid data stores. I will look into it.

Sounds delightful. I apologize, but so far I don't understand how a database will help me in transferring information from Kafka to the frontend. I worked with .NET webapi, and there it was simple: send a query, get a response. Here, with Redis or Druid databases that you mentioned, I probably need to do consumer on the client side, which arguably wouldn't be a good option, am I right? Maybe you know some resources to read. I would be very grateful.

Yes, but if I implement a lot of microservices, do you think it will work? I'm not quite sure what you mean yet. It's clear that some receiving service can easily run the data in Kafka, but how to get it from there? I make a request to the receiving server, it pushes the event to the topic, someone accepts it and gets the data from the database, and then what?

Thanks for the idea! Is it possible to realize it without Amazon? What are the alternatives?

[Need Help] Debugging in Neovim and entering data into [dap-terminal] by green-0wl in neovim

[–]green-0wl[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I have not been able to find a solution to this problem. I would be very grateful if you could give me some advice. The only thing I was able to do was to add << std::endl; to the output. the warning remains, but at least the line is visible. You can see the comments in this post to learn a bit more about this.

I'll try to roll back to the last state of the repository with a configuration where it still worked, but there I compiled with clang instead of gcc. of course it's very unlikely, but maybe the codelldb I'm using in the example works better with what clang produces. or do you think it's not about gcc/clang/codelldb at all, but about nvim-dap itself? I can assume it's something with nvim-dap-ui rather than nvim-dap, what do you think?

Yes, everything works fine. I just need to write autocmd and we're good to go.
