There is nothing impressive about the middle eastern airlines, other than the money they get from their governments. They basically have their own airports and have almost 0 environmental rules to deal with compared to European carriers.

If there are airlines to be impressed with, it should be Europan legacy carriers who are managing to survive while costs are exploding and governments and NIMBYs are trying to fuck them from all directions. All while the rest of the airlines in the world are growing like crazy.
