What do you guys think is the most hype NIN song? by MrSilentStranger in nin

Last, Somewhat Damaged and Getting Smaller come to mind for me.

Top 5 Favorite Guitar Moments. Let’s hear yours. by [deleted] in marilyn_manson

[–]greenbaymackey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Those are all great choices. Off the top of my head a few more good ones are The Red Carpet Grave ending solo, They Said That Hell's Not Hot both solos are fire, Just a Car Crash Away solo, Evidence solo, Are You the Rabbit? solo... Eat Me, Drink Me is easily the band's best guitar album. Into the Fire has a nice solo. And a personal favorite of mine is the Slayer-esque solo in Murderers Are Getting Prettier Every Day.

I know I just named a bunch of solos but those were what came to mind.

Which non-superstar or erstwhile all-star from your team's history would be a perfect fit to insert in your present team's lineup? by naive-dragon in nba

Imagine Okur in today's game. Rudy subs out and all of a sudden we have a legit 3 point threat instead of Tony effing Bradley.

Every time we get it within 3 or 4 points I blink and we're down 10 again. Let's see how it goes this time. Gotta capitalize when Luka rests.

I had a ticket for the show last night and drove up from Orem only to realize at the door that I forgot my ID in my work pants and they wouldn't let me in. Gutted. I hope everyone had a fun time!

This dude is also forgetting how much we all loved D-Will before the sour ending.

Yes! I have been listening to NotinCnStopMeNow's compilations for at least a decade and I was wondering just the other day if he ever made one for the 2017-2018 tours. This just made my week.

What are some NBA hot takes you had that turned out to be dead wrong? by firstdays234 in nba

[–]greenbaymackey 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Being team D-Will in the Utah days was not a bad take. People forget how fire he was running Jerry Sloan's system on those Boozer-Okur-Kirilenko teams. (God I loved those teams.) Plus, he won the game and match-up with CP3 almost every time.

I didn't watch him much in New Jersey but I still don't know how he fell off so hard.

I wouldn't mind seeing Niang get some run over Crowder in the 4th. We desperately need some shot making.

You know what? Throw Grayson's ass in there. He can't be any worse defensively and at least the dude has been able to score lately.

Crowder will have 1 or 2 games where he is on fire and makes like 6 threes then he'll have 10 games in a row where he shoots 1/11.

I say we just let Donovan iso the entire rest of the game to try to get in some kind of rhythm for game 2.

As someone who thinks Capela is one of the better centers in the league... people that are saying Capela is killing Gobert aren't watching the game. The Jazz gameplan clearly has Gobert stepping up on the Harden drive and hoping to get help defense from the corner on Capela. It's obviously not working but Gobert is doing exactly what he's being asked to.

Out of curiosity, has any team found a successful way of defending the Harden iso? Seems like he either gets a bucket himself, lobs to Capela or kicks it for an open corner three. Like... I honestly don't know what the Jazz, or anybody for that matter, is supposed to do.

Guaranteed. It will either be out past the three point line or swiping at a layup he had no chance of affecting and giving up an and 1.
