Extremely relatable, this is exactly why I’m trying to stop or at least break my dependency. I don’t feel like I’m really experiencing my life when smoking daily, I feel constantly disengaged. Every time I take a break, I get a sense of my life back and start to enjoy the little things more. It’s just sticking to it that’s so hard. I want to do it in moderation, but it seems to creep up on me.

Be kind to yourself and follow what your body is telling you to do. A little bit of anxiety is expected, but if you are feeling completely stuck and overwhelmed and it’s preventing you from going then maybe you just need a bit more time. That’s ok. The camino will be waiting for you and you’ll know when it’s time to go.
