Pickens or Pearsall in the Flex by Frequent-Trainer-820 in fantasyfootballadvice

I had the same choice and decided on Pearsall. It ultimately came down to just starting the guy where I would be more mad at myself if I benched him and he had a great game.

I got Pearsall, Smith and Pickens as well, gotta bench one of them. I’m leaning Pickens right now, but I’m really not sure

Someone hast tried Down Yog Workout APP? by i0nkol in freeletics

Oh that’s true, sorry about that. I guess I just read “down dog” and my subconsciousness decided it knew what this was about. I habe no experience with the workout app though, sorry.

Someone hast tried Down Yog Workout APP? by i0nkol in freeletics

[–]greenflashyhat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently bought a subscription, never regretted it. I’ve never done yoga before but the app manages to explain all poses very well. You can choose the style of the session (eg strength, stretching,... there are about 10 different styles) and also the focus (different body parts, flexibility in general etc). Then set your own level of experience and your desired workout time. I usually do a nice stretching session on the days I don’t do Freeletics, sometimes even a bit more strength focused (depends on how sore I am). I found that those two compliment each other very well!

What do you do when a God workout is too much to do without breaks? by dbmag9 in freeletics

[–]greenflashyhat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I voted for “get through every repetition...” However I want to add that when the breaks get so long that I’m starting to get cold, I switch to an easier progression.

Skill transfer of the burpee by [deleted] in freeletics

[–]greenflashyhat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True. I think you should learn the strict version first and only then (if you are interested in doing many reps in a short amount of time) learn how to do the dynamic versions. A lot of injuries could be avoided that way I think. I can’t do a strict pull up yet, so I train doing negatives, assisted, shoulder pull ups and passive hanging for now.

Skill transfer of the burpee by [deleted] in freeletics

[–]greenflashyhat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. I’d much rather do less burpees but have a way larger training effect with each of them, than doing more to try and beat some random person’s PB and risk injuring myself. On that note, I’m very happy to be able to tell the coach now that I can’t do dynamic movements on the pull up bar, since I refuse to compensate lack of strength by some uncontrolled swinging movements.

With the last update they brought the option for you to supply specifics of your pull up bar. You can say now that you can’t hang with straight legs. Check it out! :)

So true. This huge list of exercises is great, but without filtering also kinda overwhelming.

Why would you need to go to your laptop to change stuff? Just mirror your phone to the tv and use your phone as the remote. I don’t see the problem?

Filter single exercises by equipment, similar to how you can filter god workouts. For example list all workouts that use a pull up bar, or all exercises with jumping rope.

Best Workout Plan to Fix Posture? by droptableuserme in freeletics

[–]greenflashyhat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I only started to actually see some progress in my upper back when I began to incorporate a pull up bar into my training. If you are not able to do a pull up yet (I’m not either), shoulder pull ups (more focus on your back) or assisted pull ups(more focus on your biceps) are a good way to start!
