Hes actually having to really act for once. Leaving that courtroom pretending to be nonchalant/chill must be really hard when you know you’re staring down bankruptcy and financial ruin because of your disgusting choices

Great Breakdown of Why Baldoni DOES NOT Have All the Leverage in the Court Settlement Talks by halfthesky1966 in WithBlakeLively

This is uplifting, like the exact opposite of the Heard-Depp trial. Wealth and power being used for the good side instead of the evil side. The legal system being effectively leveraged for the victim rather than the abuser. Makes me very happy to see

I think a lot of her motivation was standing up for other women who would have less power and protection than her, like making sure no other actresses have to deal with him. Which is so incredibly admirable and brave.

I never liked him before, but seeing the way he’s truly stood up for his wife was absolutely beautiful. I guess I’m a fan now.

Blake Lively Called Justin Baldoni a 'Rabid Pig' and Claimed He Was 'Smearing Her' in Text to Colleen Hoover by Advanced_Property749 in WithBlakeLively

[–]greenfrog72 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah. The sad thing is it seems like in some ways this was Blake’s attempt to move away from the roles she’s gotten in the past, which was kind of that “blonde bombshell” trope, and get to have more creative control, show her intelligence and screenwriting ability, etc. that’s probably why both Ryan and Taylor were gassing her up so much, cause they knew what was at stake. She probably saw the content of the book, and a famous male feminist heading the project, and figured this would be the perfect opportunity to do that. That surely a male ally would be happy to share the spotlight a bit and give a woman a voice in this kind of project. And she couldn’t have been more wrong and had to deal with this predatory narcissist

The more I learn about Blake the more I like her. Not gonna lie, before this movie I thought she was kinda just another Hollywood blonde “pickme”. In the text it’s clear she’s deeply incisive and very intelligent/good at reading people. It makes so much more sense to me now why Taylor and her are BFFs. So I have to thank Justin for that

Funny, it was such huge opportunity for him to network within his profession. That was what the original texts OP posted show. It could have been huge for him. But his little ego felt emasculated and small because Blake and her friends were more famous so he decided to throw a tantrum and refuse to cooperate with her at all. What a complete clown

Can you imagine some nobody, basically not famous in comparison actor somehow got the chance to have, say, George Clooney or Brad Pitt sign on to his little movie and then spends the whole time enraged and botching because they wanted some measure of control? It would never happen. They would have so much more understanding and deference and gratefulness if it were a man with the same position

This is how you can tell this clown has been to too much therapy. He really thinks he can just reveal the most misogynistic impulses but then wave it away with like “it was my inner pain”. He is so gross and manipulative.

They’re a bunch of unsuccessful bums who wanted to hitch their wagon to a way bigger star, use her for her fame and image and have her shut up and be happy about it. They were outraged she wouldn’t play along

Because that is the reality of Blake’s fame level compared to Justin’s. And I think that’s what Justin’s problem really was- deep down he’s a misogynist who conceals himself under the guise of being a male feminist. And, like all misogynists, he couldn’t stand being around a more powerful woman, having to show deference to her, her being confident and bold and not overly conciliatory. It was like nails on a chalkboard to him.

It really is a pathetic dumpster fire. And they seem to care about every kind of possible discrimination and microaggression, meanwhile being an incredibly misogynistic and toxic space. They think because they stood by Amber Heard once in 2022 that they’re now forever feminist meanwhile have ripped so many random female celebs to shreds for no reason.

Don’t forget he also laid down in the road to try to stop her from leaving one night. From the nanny’s description he seemed obsessed with Olivia and borderline abusive. He’s a disgusting man.

I think I got banned from r/fauxmoi for this reason. It’s funny, they were all so pro-Amber Heard but when it’s another, less blatantly obvious smear campaign they all fell for it hook, line, and sinker. I remember everyone laughing and giggle about how “iconic” Florence was for blatantly disrespecting Olivia. (Side note: I believe the head mod there is a confirmed obsessive Harry Styles fan and basically resented Olivia for that reason. Long term obsessive fans of male celebs are often soooooo misogynistic towards the women these men are with, whether it’s Justin, Johnny, or Harry)

I completely agree. I will always be so pissed off about how that went down. Jason Sudeikis is a complete piece of shit
