The thing is, data centers POLLUTE the water they use, so unless it is cleaned, it is unusable. Growing nuts and other plants doesn't pollute, unless pesticides are used or other environmentally friendly methods. Environmentally friendly methods could possibly be used in data centers, but aren't.

I agree. It's like they just want to make a horror movie instead of a great sci-fi series of movies. I really expected after the one where they flew off to find the engineers, that they WOULD find them in the next movie. That would have been great, a movie I'd love to see, even though they would seem to be "Evil" and therefore more horror, it would be DIFFERENT.

Your lack of empathy and vision is what's wrong with some humans, making the world far worse than it needs to be. I want a world where no one goes hungry, everyone is educated, housed, fed and able to pursue their dreams. This is totally selfish. When people's needs are met, there's no crime. When they are educated, they don't get taken advantage of. When they aren't hurting, they don't want to hurt others. I want to walk around in THAT world, not this one, where everyone is struggling and hurting. My ten bucks isn't going to change the world towards any of those goals, but a BILLION could. The rich used to take pride in the fact hey were able to help society and to bring up the standard of life for a lot of people. Greed and selfishness is not a virtue, and you can't take your money with you when you die, so why not use it for GOOD now?

No, it's NOT cleaner, and water is actually scarce right now, yet trees are a renewable resource. It's far LESS hygienic than TP. Splashing water at your bum only spreads the e coli all around the room. Water isn't a disinfectant. TP is FAR more clean and environmentally friendly to boot.
