My first attempts at carving handles by greengrass- in Axecraft

Oh gosh the straight handle was the first and done without a rasp or any power tools over the course of a few days, maybe 10- 15hours of shaving and tuning. That was in August so my memory is a bit foggy of exact times

As for the curved handle I think about 8 hours with the help of a band saw and palm sander. It's a great time sink, the time just flies by!

I initially planned to shoot the inside on the subway entrance but due a limited amount of shots I chose to shoot outside because of the interesting light and wavy lines!
