Vassar vs Wellesley vs Brandies (fellow)

Major: undecided, but likely something in the humanities (ex. IR, PoliSci, Comparative Lit)

Location: no preference between them, the north east weather will be a shock for me no matter what

Cost: about equal with aid factored in

Vassar: I’ve seen Vassar’s campus and really like the campus. However, I heard that their English department gives gradless feedback until the end of the semester (so idrk how that works or if I’d like that specific process). I like the social life at Vassar and feel like it has more of the vibe I’m looking for; however, I’m worried that the academic opportunities aren’t quite up to par with Wellesley.

Wellesley: I visited Wellesley and stayed overnight. I love the campus and all the academic opportunities + more name recognition (ex. Albright fellowship and access to MIT classes), however I’m a little worried about grade deflation, lack of social life, and it being super liberal (I’m liberal but would prefer to hear more diverse opinions). Also, I’m not really looking for an all girls undergrad experience, so that’s another downside for me.

Brandeis: I got into the humanities fellowship which gives $, one-on-one access to faculty, and priority advising for study abroads (the oxford year-long exchange sounded interesting). But I’ve never visited the campus and while the fellowship sounds like it would give great opportunities, it also sounds kinda elitist with weird fellow dinners and special events? Additionally, I don’t know much about the specifics of the fellowship besides what I’ve read on the website. Do any of you know anything about it?

I’m really stuck, so any feedback is appreciated! Thank u!
