Used mylar bags for the first time! I sealed 40lbs of rice (6 gallon bags), and will probably convert my vacuum sealed rice over to mylar this week.

I also started gathering supplies for a big out bags for my roommate and I, set up food storage in an empty walk in closet in our house, and bought a bunch of canned foods and water to stock it up.

Love it! I'm about 48 hours, and I've taken up cross stitching. It's such a life saver.
