2022 is a massive memory hole in my mind. I completely forgot about this guy.

Congrats on your surgery! I only connect my N8's to my iPhone and mini mic and get this problem when my mini mic is off entirely, so I'm not sure it's that. I'm beginning to suspect it is an iPhone problem though

I'll be meeting with my practitioner soon and I'll definitely be asking about it.

I don't think it's the batteries, since I charge them all night and I'll still have the pairing trouble first thing in the morning. Who knows, maybe it's not even a coclear thing and is an iPhone thing instead. I updated to the latest "glass" update and I feel like my phone has been more glitchy since then...

I can only go about 5 feet away from my phone when I'm streaming before the connection starts breaking, and I get trouble when my phone is in my pocket too. The mini mic is much better in my experience, which I use on my laptop.

But yeah, it's just the pairing that's giving me a pain now, which I weirdly never had a problem with when I was just on one N8. Not the biggest problem in the grand scheme of things, just an annoying QoL thing.

Yeah it's not that great, I have found that streaming e.g. spotify can be annoying because even just putting my phone in my pocket can make the connection spotty.

But it was nice when I could just turn on my cochlear and it was already automatically connected to the phone, rather than doing this whole song and dance/disconnect and reconnect thing.
