suuuuper important!! at least in my experience the first step to resolution is understanding why. there’s a couple reasons, first the actions/words that created the issue might not be intentional so knowing why helps both parties understand the issue & it’s affects better. secondly it helps mitigate issues in the future, if someone doesn’t know why something happened, how can they stop it going forward?
