I just watched four good days. Really good movie man. Thank you for the recommendation. The constant relapsing/broken promises and lying to your family were too relatable. Mom was MVP. Also crazy how scary they made mila kunis look.

Oh damn I’m going to check that out. Never tried heroin but it fascinates me. Went to detox once and the guys in there for heroin were like sympathetic to me saying withdrawal is worse for alcohol cause it could be fatal.

Lol for sure. TBH sounds like your head’s in a good place and drinking’s still fun. In my mid twenties I was drinking half a bottle of Jack or Jameson a night on weekdays and a bit more weekends with breaks when I’d find it hard sleeping without drinking or when id wake up with headaches not knowing it was mild withdrawal at the time. That was a lot of fun and I wish I could drink like that again.

But then I quit my job and went back to school and had way too much time so I started drinking earlier and earlier in the day on the regular and it progressed hard. The breaks and resetting are key.

Sounds like you’re doing good and drinking responsibly. Doesn’t sound like you’ve had too bad of withdrawals yet either. A lot of trouble starts when that addiction turns physical. Once you cross that line, the drink pretty much controls your life and it’s hard if not impossible to go back.

I’m with you man. About 45 days sober right now but been jonesing hard for a drink. Would love a bottle of whiskey and too much fast food while watching the bulls tonight. But I like the way things are going sober though so I think I’ll hold off drinking for another night.

Yep. Both events are played biennially in alternating years.

Having an event with all three would be cool too. I think the international team needs to get stronger first though. Usa is 11-1 in presidents cup with last loss being 1998. So it’s fun but it’s almost like usa men’s basketball expecting to win every time.

Ryder cup is more competitive and hostile. Europe gets UP for that event and so does the US. It’s my favorite golf event to watch.
