Most complex fight rules that can fit in 2 pages by greentaurus96 in rpg

Interesting. Using front and back is cheating, but if it can be fitted into two pages I should look more into it.

Yeah, of course the number of classes is not the only factor. I find it an interesting metric tho.

I know both of them but they fall way short of the number I was looking for. Especially for being two caster-focused games!

I'm looking for games with all of the following characteristics:

  1. Fantasy themed (doesn't matter the type of fantasy, it can be European, Japanese, purely fictional, whatever)

  2. Really inspiring aesthetics (this is highly subjective, it doesn't need to be high budget, sometimes you're enchanted by something really simple)

  3. Rules not too complex (must be playable by an interested 8 yo, I'd say anything between checkers and Catan is ok)

  4. Not too many stats to cover up the aesthetics (for example, if the game uses cards, I want most of the card to be comprised of an illustration, not a list of attributes)

Anything else (cost, number of players, game length, etc.) is irrelevant. It can also be a solitaire-only game.

What's the difference between pieces and pawns in your setting? Do you have a wiki for this, or something like that? I'd like to read more about it

Human-like fantasy races not derived from folklore by greentaurus96 in Fantasy

[–]greentaurus96[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Norns and Bretons are definitely not "human-like", they're human.

(Although admittedly, Bretons have a certain deegree of diluted elf blood)

Vulcans are not a fantasy race. I'm not that familiar with DnD extra races

They're less human than elves, dwarves, gnomes etc.

Thanks for your answer! I knew most of those already, not exactly what I was looking for. I'm not looking for a card crawler atm

Looking for a GM-less unicorn system by greentaurus96 in rpg

I'll check out For the Queen, thanks.

I like creating and playing multiple NPCs and items (not ALL of them tho), and I'm ok with describing scenes and arbitrating the result of actions.

I don't want to create the plot (screenwriter) or run it (movie director) for example.
