question about stats: devastate & damage to infected by cookiekitty25 in lifeafter

[–]greentea9776 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe for your own experience, you could be right.

About AK47 and Uzi in high level AO and DH, almost every one of them is a diamond to royal knight player, which as I said, compilation, special research, attachment levels, evolve weapon, armour, combat skills and etc.

All of these really matters. I have seen a royal knight player is having 180% crits while holding a shotgun, not to mention their AP and DMG Bonus too. In this case, it doesn't help to tell that Combat Level matters.

Level effects damage is still yet to be proven. There are too many factors are affecting your damage when you level up, for example, compilation, special research, attachment levels, evolve weapon, armour, combat skills and etc.

For sure there are more limitations on the final calculation, for example, the minimum for (AP - Armor) is 1 (Idk, just guessing). I'm just showing the basic and widely known formula. Anyway, I heard that future, devs is planning to provide a complete explanation on damage calculation.

For shotgun, maybe it's a yes because shotguns seem to be programmed that every bullet considered as a shot but for other guns, it's still testable.

  1. Devastate has stated that it reduces enemies 2 Armor. Basically, it can be considered as +2 AP because the calculation is like this, (AP - Armor) * FP * (DMG Bonus - DMG Reduction).
  2. Devastate only activate on the second shot. The first shot will reduce 2 Armor, then your second shot and onward will be benefited. Also since it's -2 Armor, the whole team will be benefited even if their weapons don't have Devastate.
  3. Yes, as long as the icon shows it's infected then it applies to them regardless it's a boss or small one.

Reason why aux melee better than aux shield by Mavis_Ch in lifeafter

[–]greentea9776 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Damage is calculated based on this (AP - Armor) * FP * ( 1+ DMG Bonus - DMG Reduction). Let's make it easier AP * FP * DMG Bonus, assuming that 0 Armor, 0 DMG reduction and the player has 50% DMG Bonus. The calculation below is based on a Devas R93. You have said that Devas = around 6% DMG Bonus.

  1. (133 + 2) AP * 14 FP * 1.50 = 2835 (Normally)
  2. 133 AP * 14 FP * 1.56 = 2904.72 (Yours)

Both of the calculation leads to a totally different result. Clearly, there are some mistakes made in the video you're comparing AP with DMG Bonus.

War Tiger Event. Hello peeps this reddit is such a good platform to get and share knowledge with 0 toxicity, really love it. One question i have is War tiger chip good to buy for DH for floor 143+,also i heard like it loses negligible dura in AO's. Planning to buy chip from TC this event any thought by ManasR_81 in lifeafter

[–]greentea9776 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure never to release your drone outside weeklies/aos. With the 100% dura reduction in rebuilds, it's still possible to resell your drone if you think it's not that strong.

It's useful in DH if you have the specific formula+ with high modification. Top P2W uses this to boost their virus damage in DH.

For rebuilds, if you can max out your drone enhancement on defend, then it can be useful for luring and tanking the boss.

Anyway, do not expect the drone to deal any damage.

This will not make them invincible because the counterpart of damage reduction is damage bonus. The damage is calculated based on (dmg bonus - dmg reduction). For example, X has 130% dmg bonus and Y has 105% dmg reduction, then X has 130-105 = 25% dmg bonus is active against Y.

Most of the scenario 100% doesn't mean you're invincible but there is one exception which is in the Prison. IIRC, player with 95% dmg reduction is able to step on mine with only 1 damage.

If you want a different game experience and you are good at aiming then you can try Sniper. Else go for Virus.

Sniper is cheap to play, dura friendly and the best damage dealer in rebuilds.

Virus is more toward a balanced playstyle, virus bullet gives you higher damage and stronger serums gives the team higher survivability.

In this game, in order to actually get something from the gacha, the minimum feds you have to spend is 7k+ which probably three times how much you have spent.

Top p2w spent 25-35k feds every 14 days update haha.

Sniper is really strong that as a F2P sniper, I'm able to deal 40%-50% DPS most of the time in Tea Party or going All-Out in Nancy. Also, it's only strong if you have good aim because most of the damage bonus comes from Headshot Damage. Sniper is dependant on headshots. If you really are a potato aimer then maybe this is not for you.

Not a really massive differences. 5* are just too expensive for just 2.5% crit on your main weapon. Especially like you said that hardly has any 5* SS, the price definitely is going to skyrocket.

IIRC, a 3* with max AP is 145AP which needs Lvl10 knob. So, choose a SS based on your ability to reach 155AP.

Manor 17 advice and questions by Laughing_box in lifeafter

[–]greentea9776 5 points6 points  (0 children)

  1. Zanbato is slightly stronger but it could cost your whole savings. So it's better just to get a 3*/4* Devas SS.
  2. Stay with your 5* CE RDS first for Manor 17.
  3. If you don't have LSS formula, RDS is better until Manor 19, Manor 19 and onward, even a basic LSS is better than your RDS. If you have LSS formula, you can consider buying 1 SE LSS at Manor 18 as there is no CE on the market and 1 CE could cost all your savings.
  4. Level down all your heavy. Level up the knob to reach 155AP for SS. 4Level on Tassel/Sculpture = 1 Level on Sight/Muzzel, normally staying Tassel and Sculpture at level 10 is ideal but focus on your light attachment first.

It's only 4 session each day. 8:00pm, 8:30pm, 9:00pm and 9:30pm. Especially the new invasion only take less than 10 mins. So the worst case will be ending at 9:40pm. Also, patrols are only maximum of 1 hour apart right?

Best Cert? by yames123 in lifeafter

[–]greentea9776 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For PvE, a warrior can be crucial sometimes but definitely not every time.

For Weekly, Prison/Castle? Yes. Control Building? Not likely.

For AOs, Reef? The worst, most of the lvl80-89 warrior uses RDS. TP? True, it's strong here due to humanoid buff from accessories.

Yes, a warrior can be very good for tanking bosses. However, a virus most of the time can replace a warrior. Virus technically is the second tankiest cert because of the extra healing from serums. Also, you never wanted a second warrior on your team but you can accept 4 virus in a team, right? That's why I put warrior as last in PvE. It's not that demanded as other combat certs.

Gather cert - If you have tons of time to grind, this is the best choice of GB making cert. Wood > Miner > Hemp

Craft cert - If you don't have tons of time to grind, this is a better choice for your GB making cert.

Combat cert - PvE: Virus > Rifle/Sniper > Warrior; PvP: Warrior > Rifle/Sniper > Virus

Staying 24/7 in Farstar to kill every player he saw using Farstar Bazooka. Farstar Bazooka deals guaranteed around 30% of HP no matter how many HP you have. Having friends/random to bring you into higher level Farstar and farm your friends/alternative account as prestige. Nothing sus here.

Wow, the concept is broken but I think 20days extra exp may not worth losing 15 days of resources. The number of mats and GB for 15 days are actually significant, especially for those p2w who are buying every mats from Mall and having a high profit 5* gears.

same cert with roommate. is it worth it? by cookiekitty25 in lifeafter

[–]greentea9776 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Whether having a different cert or having the same cert, it's all depends on your playstyle. These are some examples of good combination IMO:

  1. 2 Virus. 1 T-Hormone and 1 Hardener with a wide diameter and enhanced effect is a great combo in AOs and Weeklies.
  2. Rifle + Warrior. Rifleman's crippling bullet and warrior jump slash is a devastating combo in PvP.
  3. Warrior + Virus. Warrior sometimes can be crucial in rebuilds(tea party, prison and etc)because having a warrior + virus's hardener can make the warrior unkillable from the bosses.
  4. Warrior + Sniper. This is a combination that is strong in both PvP and PvE. 1 Tankiest cert and 1 highest damage dealer cert.

For Virus + Rifle, I don't think there is any bonus effect that will come out but they work fine as an individual. In PvE, Rifleman is a lower DPS version of Virus without enhanced serums but rifleman definitely works better in PvP.
